BEWARE WHOSE COUNTING THE VOTES IN TEXAS AND OHIO

Democrats are

The Washington Establishment, which includes the Bushes and Clintons, is beginning to get uneasy about the growing populist Obama movement and its obvious threat to the status quo ~ so don't rule out voting irregularities in Texas and Ohio. Karl Rove is on intimate terms with the state officials who run the elections in Texas and both state’s electronic voting machines are owned by diehard Republicans: Diebold; ES&S and Sequoia ~ which is a self-serving arrangement for both Mr. Rove and the Clintons: Allen L Roland

Remember Hillary's miraculous win in New Hampshire when 81% of the votes cast were counted by Diebold and they directly contradicted the exit polls which showed Obama the clear winner.

The same thing could happen in Texas and Ohio particularly since Karl Rove is a resident of Texas and the Republicans would much rather face Hillary in November than Obama ~ who, according to recent polls, beats McCain handily whereas Hillary would lose to McCain.

My friend Michael Carmichael, reporting from the UK, offers an in depth analysis of THE CLINTONS IN CRISIS and also shares the ominous Karl Rove connection as well as the very real possibility of vote stealing.

THE CLINTONS IN CRISIS

Michael Carmichael  02/29/08

Clintons in crisis by Michael Carmichael

Excerpt: " Throughout their “debate,” Senator Obama remained cool, calm, and focused on presenting his message of change - a performance that contrasted sharply with Senator Clinton’s troublingly ungracious attempts to smear her opponent.

Against this unfurling backdrop, Karl Rove has raised his head above the parapet to toss a grenade of his own at Senator Obama claiming that he is a (shudder) “lib-er-al.”

Mr. Rove’s comment to the Wall Street Journal will do no harm to his intended target. However, it does point to the increasingly odd fact: the Clintons and Mr. Rove now have a common enemy - and there will be a showdown in the great state of Texas next week – Karl Rove’s home territory.

After Mr. Rove resigned from the White House last summer, he resumed his residency in Texas. It is common knowledge that Mr. Rove is on intimate terms with the state officials who run the elections in Texas. Most of the state and local election officials are members of the Republican Party.

The state’s electronic voting machines were manufactured, distributed, installed and maintained by corporations that are controlled by diehard Republicans: Diebold; ES&S and Sequoia. This situation is a very cozy arrangement for Mr. Rove and the Clintons.

It is a rarely cited fact that Bill Clinton is no stranger to Texas politics. In 1972, Bill Clinton ran the McGovern presidential campaign in Texas, and as Attorney General and Governor of Arkansas, he has many friends in the Lone Star state.

Next week’s second major primary will take place in Ohio. It so happens that Ohio was Ground Zero for the stealing of the presidential election in 2004. Robert Francis Kennedy, Jr., published his exhaustive report on the stealing of the 2004 election in Ohio blaming former Secretary of State J. Kenneth Blackwell for repressing the black vote.

Once again, the Machiavellian levers of election stealing are in the control of Republicans who own and operate the voting machine industry - all people who are on very cordial terms with Mr. Rove including the former director of Diebold, Weldon O’Dell as well as J. Kenneth Blackwell, a senior Republican.

These factors could overshadow Senator Clinton’s support for NAFTA, the discredited trade agreement that has led to massive unemployment in the Rust Belt. She still leads in the polls in Ohio, but Obama is gaining ground."

Bold face is shouting, Allen

We could do with a little less bold faced type and a lot more thoughtfulness in publishing. If the Washington establishment contains both Bushs' and Clintons' then it also contains Kennedys', and Obama as well, as his political history in Washington DC is one of a centrist support for the status quo.

If Texas is preparing a crooked democratic primary then one might surmise that they choose to face Clinton in November. But, Allen, should Obama win would we then conclude that Rove and company have chosen to face him instead? If the primary is fixed already then an Obama victory there should be the beginning of a mass desertion of support for a candidate chosen by Karl Rove, dontcha think?

It is definitely the silly season......

No, If Obama wins it will because his support was so strong that the fix didn't work ~ much like the mid-term elections which Rove could not manipulate because the Democratic wave was so strong. The fix only works in close elections ;-)

This post was written to strengthen Obama's support inorder to override any Rovian tactics ~ many of which have already been adopted by the Clintons.

You need a bit of introspection, Mr. Roland

You cannot have it both ways ,sir. If the Texas primary is fixed to ensure the weaker of the two candidates wins then the voters shoudl reject its results as favoring the GOP choice. You are just being pretty silly and unreasonable in positting that a Clinton victory shoudl be rejected as false but an Obama selection is honesty itself. Talk about agendised...wheeew someone call Guinness we have a new record.

INTROSPECTION INDEED

Introspection indeed ~ my political intuition tells me that this is really the establishment versus the anti- establishment and that the only true anti Iraq war candidate is Obama . The Clintons and McCain are establishment and Obama is definitely a threat to that well oiled machine.

Obama's theme of hope is really America's longing for a change in moral direction ~ which neither Clinton or McCain can truly offer. Witness the incredible crowds as well as young voters on the Obama bandwagon.

The establishment will do ANYTHING to maintain their power ~ including vote fixing ~ as we have obviously seen in previous elections.

Let's hope the Obama wave is so big that it won't matter.

You are not the first person

to be let down by introspection, nor will you be the last. In Barak Obama's short political career he is neither more or less establishment than is Hillary Clinton, or John McCain for that matter, as all three are pretty darn middle of the road. They differ here and there of course, and McCain differs from both rather emphatically on the iraq issue of course. But in general they are all three pretty establishment folks.

You are , of course, free to believe what you will, you may even believe Obama to be against the war while funding it at every opportumity. You may believe him the second coming for that matter, some of the Obamamaniacs seem to make that leap of faith. If he wins the Presidency I am darn certain there will be a whole bunch of "I told you so" moments coming......

ARDEE

Doubt is a fear too lonely to know that faith is its twin brother ~

The world is heading toward a significant shift in consciousness in the next four years and the only American presidential candidate who is capable of grasping that shift and reinforcing it is Barack Obama.
