SHOCK AND HORROR IN AUGUST / IRAN ATTACK

The handwriting is on the wall. Pandora's box is opening on the corrupt Cheney/Bush administration's blatant abuses of power but one remains. Cheney and Bush will give Israel the OK to attack Iran and when Iran retaliates ~ we will attack Iran. This will happen during the Congressional recess in August ~ Bush and Cheney will move quickly to reconsolidate their power while oil rockets to $100.00 a barrel: Allen L Roland

Two war pimps are beating the war drums ~ Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs Avigdor Lieberman said on Tuesday that he received the tacit blessing of Europe and the United States for an Israeli military strike on Iran's nuclear facilities.
http://www.israeltoday.co.il/default.aspx?tabid=178&nid=13407

America's war pimp is Joe Lieberman ( no relation ) who is saying " The fact is that the Iranian government has by its actions declared war on us,"  As a result, he said, "The United States government has a responsibility to use all instruments at its disposal to stop these terrorist attacks against our soldiers and allies in Iraq, including keeping open the possibility of using military force against the terrorist infrastructure inside Iran." Lieberman Beats Iran Drum -- Courant.com
In other words, the new administration's drumbeat ( led by Lieberman ) is that Iran is killing American soldiers by supporting the Iraq freedom fighters and have, in essence, declared war on the United States.
http://commentisfree.guardian.co.uk/stephen_kinzer/2007/07/the_new_drumbeat_on
Of course, AIPAC is applying fierce pressure on Congress to take action and Cheney and Bush will rapidly realize that the only way out of mounting revelations, investigations and subpoenas is THE WAR CARD.
Yes, the same war card they played in Iraq but this time it will be the death card ( the queen of spades ) for Cheney and Bush will not be facing impeachment proceedings when this disintegrates but criminal indictments ~ that is, if we survive their march toward armageddon .
Here's my scenario ~ sometime in August ( during the Congressional recess ) Israel will attack Iran and we will back them up  when Iran retaliates  ( we will soon have three carrier attack groups in the Persian gulf )  Oil will immediately go to $100.00 a barrel and the Cheney/Bush administration will seize that moment to both solidify their political control and ward off Congressional investigations.
These fanatics are convinced they are patriots and are more than willing to take both the Republican party and the country down with them.
Karl Rove's speech in Aspen this last weekend had their main talking point ~  Rove fearmonger that 80-90 percent of violence in Iraq is due to al Qaeda and they still maintain if we don't stop them there ~ they will hit us here. This is a blatant lie but already we now have Michael Chernoff's dire [gut] feeling of an imminent Al Qaeda attack this summer ~ thus the connection ( al Qaeda and Iran ) and the war drums get louder as we head into August.
Shock and horror in August will soon be upon us and it may be too late to stop it ~  just as in Germany in the 1930's when the German people realized, with shock and horror, that their country had been high jacked by Hitler and his cabal of fanatics.

Retired from the rat-race and now, with time, see the reality of what the activity really was.
GeraldoRetired from the rat-race and now, with time, see the reality of what the activity really was.

So -

With the gravely-published findings that materials for a 'dirty bomb' can quite easily be imported, making way for a nice false-flag op. al Wolfowitz on Houston, and with reports that Israel is practising air-refueling F16s from 707s, the facts are inclined to agree with you.

Any of the rest of the world still free and with the ability should make it quite clear to both Israel and America that, should Israel unwarrantedly and illegally nuke or otherwise attack Iran, then without further notice that little ulcer of a country will be turned to glass.

And, in that regretable circumstance, do it.

How often do I have to worry about being bombed?

I'm just about to go back to Iran to rejoin my family--two kids and a husband and scores of relatives--as well as many friends (including other Americans).

Just so folks can get a feel for what these Liebermans are talking about, American moms and kids and college students will be among the 70 million people in Iran in August. This talk of the U.S. and/or Israel bombing Iran has been upsetting us all year, and in August once again we'll be thinking that if there's any justice in the world, it won't happen.

Actually, I didn't think anyone in Iraq or even Afghanistan deserved to be bombed, either, so I guess there isn't much justice in the world. And the fact that it's a crazy idea to attack Iran is not all that comforting either, given who seems to be in charge in the world.

Anyway, regarding my own personal desire to survive alive, I prefer to think that my fellow Americans and our representatives will communicate forcefully to the Bush regime that there will be serious and immediate legal consequences if they dare to initiate or support an attack on Iran.

It's summer. I feel like I should be having fun. I wish I didn't have to keep worrying about this.

Me too, Razedi ~ but wishful thinking can no longer be condoned in a world where the peoples voice must be raised and heard by the leaders ~ We, in essence, are the deciders  ~ there is no change without action and action always involves risk.

We must all do what it takes to bring about change ~

Well, I hope Israel's bluffing and I'm going back to Iran

Thanks for replying. You're right, of course.

I hope that this is the part of Israel's strategy that is supposed to create a "credible threat" that will make Iran more willing to "cooperate." In other words, I along with 69.99 million Iranians are banking on this being a bluff. Of course, there are no actual choices for Iran because whatever they do the big powers continue to lie about them and push and push and push. Just like there were no real choices for the AMerican Indians. They sat atop arable land, or gold, or whatever, and they just had to go. The only choice they had in actuality was how to go.... American people are so blind sometimes.

So I'm going back to Iran next week rather than going down to Washington to stage a hunger strike at the Senate or something, mostly because my kids are in Iran, not to mention millions of other kids. Pray for all of us.
