In "gripping testimony" yesterday ~ then Acting Attorney General Comey revealed extraordinary details about the efforts made by Alberto Gonzales and Andrew Card -- then-White House counsel and chief of staff, respectively -- to persuade John Ashcroft to overrule Comey, regarding President Bush's warrantless domestic spying program, even as Ashcroft was debilitated in an intensive care unit with pancreatitis. And yes, Cheney's office was directly involved in this abuse of power. Yet to come will be the cover up and very probable conspiracy regarding the lead up to 9/11 and aftermath of that tragic event ~ which also has Dick Cheney's fingerprints all over it. Here , once again, are 40 experts, including the Chairman, 9/11 Commission, Thomas H. Kean, Former Governor of New Jersey and Vice Chairman, 9/11 Commission, Lee Hamilton, Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, Homeland Security Advisory Council ~ sounding off in short quotes about their misgivings with the 9/11 commission and the questions that are still unanswered.
