" Patriotism in its simplest, clearest and most indubitable signification is nothing else but a means of obtaining for the rulers their ambitions and covetous desires, and for the ruled the abdication of human dignity, reason, conscience, and a slavish enthralment to those in power:" Leo Tolstoy
There is something unsettling about watching a heroic and obviously patriotic film interpretation of an event that is still shrouded by many questions as well as an incomplete 9/11 investigation.
An investigation that the Cheney/Bush administration initially stonewalled and are still actively stonewalling as to the 2nd half ~ that deals with pre 9/11 intelligence gathering.
In an interview with the financial news network CNBC, Mr Bush said he had yet to see the recently released film of the uprising, a dramatic portrayal of events on the United Airlines Flight 93 before it crashed in a Pennsylvania field.
But now Bush has said the September 11 revolt of passengers against their hijackers on board Flight 93 had struck the first blow of " World War III ". http://tinyurl.com/mhprf
Got the picture ~ the movie Flight 93 being used to fan the flames of false patriotism as the Cheney/Bush administration gear up for war with Iran and, very possibly, WW lll .
Fortunately there are others who feel the same way as I do ~ and one of them is Jerry Mazza , Online Journal writer, who asks and suggest some possible answers as to Why was this movie made ?
Excerpt: " But maybe the "why" can be answered in part by "who" made Flight 93. It arrived packaged and promoted by Universal Studios, which is owned by NBC Universal, which also owns NBC, which is all owned by General Electric, media giant and major weapons contractor. What's more according to la.indymedia.org , General Electric donated $1.1 million to GW Bush for his 2000 election "run." MSNBC is an NBC joint venture with MS or Microsoft that kicked in $2.4 million to get GW Bush elected. Now, where do you think the movie's point of view is coming from? "

" FLIGHT 93 " THE MOVIE, WHY ?
By Jerry Mazza Online Journal Contributing Writer
May 1st, 2006
Why would anyone make a 9/11 movie based on a number of cell and air phone calls that might have been scientifically impossible on September 11, 2001, simply because the technology couldn't handle calls of that distance, six to seven miles up.
Well, they made Flight 93 because the calls were used as spin-evidence that a band of brave Americans fought off a smaller vicious band of terrorists, when in fact the entire event is surrounded in a mire of questions?
Like the once-quarried bog that supposedly swallowed Flight 93's 757 in a grassy field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, leaving a smoking hole, grave deep, some 20 by 10 feet wide, and little else.
But maybe the "why" can be answered in part by "who" made Flight 93. It arrived packaged and promoted by Universal Studios, which is owned by NBC Universal, which also owns NBC, which is all owned by General Electric, media giant and major weapons contractor.

Flight 93 was delayed because the passengers from flight 77 were instructed to board that plane in Newark. As we know flight 77 did not hit the Pentegon. There was no debris, or bodies at the Pentagon crash site. The Pentagon was hit by a smaller plane made to look like an airliner but was actually a missile. This missile was used to destroy evidence being gathered against the present administration. We know the Generals who are the good guys who have all voiced their disapproval of Rummy. Some of those Generals were actual targets.
Flight 77 was told it had to make an emergency landing in Newark for repairs. It landed and passengers boarded flight 93 conveniently waiting for them. Flight 77 was then escorted to a hanger and either disassembled and carted off later with the debris from the WTC. And I hope folks realize that Newark is not that far away from the WTC. Or the plane was stripped of its markings and fitted with new TWA logos.
There is more going on with terrorist hits, but with corporate takeover of Airline Companies in the USA. Howard Hughes an enemy of the Bush people was the owner of TWA. As we know Pan Am wanted to buy TWA. Hughes refused. If we remember Prescott Bush, the Granddad of the Bush Syndicate was on the Board of Directors of Pan American Airlines, along with Vanadium a company connected to Union Carbide and the Manhattan project.
The 911 plot is a deeply involved planned hit on the American diachotomy. And while the planners of this were evening the score to their enemies in the USA, they are certainly conveniently blaming the Outside world for their woes, as they capitalize on over running oil rich countries.
Flight 93 was shot down over Pennsylvania because passengers on board also included Flight 77 passengers. They had to be killed to prevent the public in knowing flight 77 was not the instrument used in the Pentagon hit.
And whether or not flight 93 passengers had this heroic urge to stop the terrorists, is debatable. How do we know if terrorists were even on that plane? We don't!
I believe the eye witness accounts of seeing a military plane shoot down flight 93. The hole in the ground looks more like a missile guided punch, making up the story that Flight 93 hit there. Where is the debris? That is the question. We all have seen airline crashes before 911, and they all have stacks of debris. Nothing is seen in Pennsylvania.
Bush is a murderer.

I have no reason not to believe you regarding the transfer of passengers in Newark; in fact it sounds like a very plausible scenario. Is there any background material you can quote that will provide us with more detail?
