Saul Williams, hip-hop poet

This article is in response to C.L. Pagano's Life Arts, Science and Science piece,  ACROSS THE UNIVERSE: THE 60'S AND COSMIC CLOCKWORK, describing how the world is about to see the evolutionary forces that advanced humanitiy in the 1960's return again to offer us the opportunity for fresh advances.

Pagano pointed out how the Arts must serve as a vanguard in leading us all on to higher ground, just as groups like the Beatles did in the 1960's. True Bards must also come to the forefront, Truth-intoxicated poets who can define Greater Reality for us and guide us on our way. One such poet, whom I nominate to be raised to the level of Bard, is Saul Williams, the youthful hip-hop poet, actor and musician who has the soul of a prophet and the spiritual depth of a John Coltrane in his poetry. You can read a short blurb on him at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saul_Williams .

Meanwhile, check out his above visionary piece on YouTube that speaks to all of us about freeing ourselves from the tightening mental, emotional and physical barbed wires of our political, cultural and individual prisons, thereby to lead us on into that ocean of joy and love that awaits us and our Mother Earth as new energies awaken and transform our planet. The transformation is definitely coming. Open yourselves up your new potentialities.

Here's a bonus piece, one that explores the theme that God, even Christ, is within us:

Saul Williams reads "Sermon on the Mount of Inevitable Progression of Saul to Saul" from Black History Month, 2007
