The U.N. Plan for UFO Disclosure and the International Year of Astronomy

by Bill Knell     Page 1 of 1 page(s)

Tell A Friend

The United Nations has designated the year 2009 as the International Year of Astronomy. Whether this was purposeful or just a coincidence, it lines up perfectly with their alleged plan to encourage disclosure of information about the UFO phenomenon next year. After one or more meetings and briefings on the subject were allegedly held in February of this year, I made a number of inquiries and have been astonished at the results.

I recently received two interesting responses to emails that I sent to various departments within the United Nations. The first came from the Office of the Spokesperson for the Secretary-General and was unsigned. It stated that the U.N. has named 2009 as the International Year of Astronomy. Among other things, this designation honors the four hundred year anniversary of Galileo Galilei as the father of modern observational astronomy.

Although no mention was made of my inquiry about the alleged UFO briefings or planned 2009 disclosure effort, it’s noteworthy that the first email also mentioned the stated purposes of the International Year of Astronomy as found on the official website at www.astronomy2009.org. The first purpose has some interesting wording:

“Increase the scientific awareness among the general public through the communication of scientific results in astronomy and related fields, as well as the process of research and critical thinking that leads to these results.”

By adding ‘related fields’ to the mission statement, the International Year of Astronomy event organizers can easily incorporate almost anything related to space, science and astronomy into their program. Although any mention of the search for life in the universe is conspicuously absent from the IYA-2009 website, that doesn’t mean that the UN cannot use IYA-2009 as a springboard to launch various inquiries into the existence of extraterrestrial life or make announcements about UFO disclosure.

The second email response I received was from the UN Commission on Science and Technology for Development. It was also unsigned, brought several interesting facts about the commission to my attention and included an enigmatic statement. The commission on science and technology has several stated purposes. One includes “Formulating UN system recommendations and guidelines on science and technology.”

If most everything involving science and technology within the U.N. organization somehow falls under the auspices of this commission, UFOs would certainly qualify. That makes this committee a possible key player in any plan for UFO disclosure. It also means we can likely read much into this statement that they included in the email:

“The United Nations is a forum for new ideas. The U.N. Commission on Science and Technology for Development encourages the sharing of scientific and technological discoveries to benefit all the nations of the world.”

Again, without mentioning UFOs or Aliens, the second email response I received makes it clear that these subjects obviously qualify as scientific discoveries that should be shared. Based on the content of both emails, I believe that the United Nations is involved in a plan to disclose information about UFOs and Aliens.

While the United Nations is not in a position to pressure powerful nations that are responsible for most of the secrecy surrounding UFOs to disclose anything, they are always a convenient place for those nations to use as a platform to discuss, debate and share information.

It’s entirely possible that the USA and other powerful nations have begun to run out of excuses when it comes to explaining away UFO sightings and encounters. With the number of credible witnesses and whistleblowers that have come forward on the rise ,and instantaneous reporting of large scale UFO events on the internet, nations in the know are beginning to face a real problem of credibility.

While most people understand a need for a certain level of government secrecy regarding the protection of citizens and property, there is always a danger that concealing too much information or lying about security issues can lead to a total loss of credibility. If people lose confidence in their government, it will not be long before that system of government is replaced by another.

The United Nations is the logical place for disclosure. It takes the pressure off nations that don’t want to explain their individual roles in decades of secrecy or have the media spotlight directed solely at them. The 2009 UFO disclosure event is a likely scenario. We can only hope that the nations with all the secrets will finally agree to share some of them. For more, visit http://www.UFOguy.com

From UN to NWO?

YouTube UN NWO has videos claiming the UN is planning on employing the UFO disclosure as a way to unite the world in a one government, New World Order.

A far reach

To conclude that the U.N. is going to somehow introduce UFOs to the world because it has "and related fields" in a email or statement is a really big stretch. Sorry but I think it's wishful thinking. You will learn about them but not from the U.N.

Agreed

This is not just a huge and unwarranted stretch. It is literally ridiculous. "Related fields" include such prosaic things as space medicine, exobiology, exmeteorology, etc.

The bigger question is why are these posts on OpEdNews? If you provide one scintilla of tangible evidence for UFOs, and I mean evidence, not conjecture, you will have done what thousands ... even hundreds ... of UFO fans have been unable to do for sixty or so years.

Where's the Evidence?

It's not hard to find evidence. For example, here is the link to a sealed affidavit released after the death of Walter Haut who was the Public Information Officer at Roswell AAF that released the initial news report about a crashed Flying Saucer in 1947. http://www.ufodigest.com/news/0707/haut.html

Haut reveals much about what really happened and the subsequent decision to cover up the crash debris at different sites by releasing conflicting stories to the media.

As a reminder, an affidavit by a primary witness to an event is evidence that would be admitted in any court of law. The fact that it was sealed until after death qualifies as deathbed testimony. So that's just a start, there's much more evidence if you genuinely seek it.

It is all so obvious

When it became understood that a build up of nuclear weapons would lead to the extermination of humanity, the intervention by ET began.

The intervention still continues because the original plan-to immolate the mass of the human race in an all out nuclear holocaust, is still in play.

So where is the proof that the ET actually exists: it is in the pudding so to speak; if ET did not exist, we all would be nuclear waste at this moment.

When the Queen from the land of the Parliamentary savages was told what the plan was, she was reported to have said upon being informed that humanity was to be exterminated with nuclear weapons: "Let them be toast."

AN ATHEIST'S QUESTION

You might as well argue that if God did not exist, we would all now be radioactive waste.  The same problem arises if you claim either that there is an All Powerful, Benevolent God or very powerful benevolent extraterrestials watching over us.  If He/She/It, or they are benevolent and therefore want to help us, why haven't they?

What Better Site for UFO Disclosure than the United Nations?

Surely, Mr. Brett, you're not suggesting that someone at Op-Ed News CENSOR public inquiry into, and discussion of, what the world's central governments know abut UFO reality (and when they knew it).

If you ARE suggesting that course of action against messenger Knell, then you're showing not just your ignorance of the U. S. government's vast compilation of heretofore classified UFO data (freed up via researchers' FOIA requests) but also your willingness to harm the interests of truth-seekers like Mr. Knell.

Such willingness merely destroys your argument at the outset. Like any other political entity, the United Nations must tread upon the byways of UFOlogy gingerly, lest the organization be overly subjected to such unfounded attacks as yours. Go ahead: keep your head in the sands of denial/ridicule, while pioneers like Knell help us move toward solving the UFO problem rather than ignoring it.

UFO disclosure

Mr. Brett has been advised on several occasions that his scepticism is a direct result of U.S. secrecy with respect to UFOs. How can we get evidence that will satisfy such sceptics if the best enabled parties to research such evidence regularly prevents the public from seeing it? I totally resent the conjecture on the part of such elitists that only they can handle the truth. What a crock!

FWIW

There seems to be a lot of evidence for UFO's.

There also seems to have been a deliberate disinfo effort by the gov or whomever for 60 years or so now.

Same with 911. Similar effort at disinfo.

Same with Kennedy... ditto.

and ditto ditto ditto with so many troubling realities.

But the whole UN thing certainly seems like more disinfo. And if it is not a hoax, then it appears even more sinister with the NWO following closely on its heals.

Now, if a large UFO came around and took out the UN... well, that would be impressive. I could provide the little grays with some more targets of interest. People and places and things, oh my.

James Brett hasn't done his homework

James, have you looked at the 1959 Father William Gill case from Papua New Guinea, or the 1994 Ruwa, Zimbabwe case involving 60+ school children seeing a UFO and occupant who approached within 3 metres of them?

There is so much evidence that indicates that UFO's are real.  One would have to be blind to not see the truth.

Aliens and Nukes

At this point it is pretty clear that the ETs do exist and have been visiting earth. While all the evidence has been hushed-up and buried, the volume and quality of reports speak for themselves.

But I question some of the positions about nukes. Some suggest ET has come because of nukes. But historic reports suggest ET has been coming here for a long long time.  Instead, consider flipping the thinking and try on the idea that nukes where developed because of ET.

Think back to the mindset of the world when Roswell happened. The world was consumed with war.  By exposing themselves via Roswell, the US and other countries would have been very afraid that we would be 'out gunned' if we had to fight the ETs. Thus we did what we always do, which is to build a weapon that might provide an edge.  Perhaps the thinks was: 1) build the nukes to fight the ETs, and 2) If we can't win, let’s make sure there is nothing left for them.  I think THAT is the principle and singular reason why we have so many nukes. Otherwise, why would you need more that 10 or so.

The above assumes the ETs might be hostile, which is a legitimate concern, but I'm reasonably hopefully that an ET race that can travel the galaxy will be advanced enough to have adopted a more virtuous and noble disposition.  If not, were in trouble.
