Salon and the Nation killed Christopher Ketcham’s incendiary What Did Israel Know in Advance of the 9/11 Attacks expose.

Too hot to handle? Significantly advancing this story could ignite a political tinderbox.

The cop-on-the-beat relationship between the U.S. and Israel in no way disconfirms Israel's commitment to surveil terrorists and assorted Islamic whack jobs, even if such surveillance takes place on U.S. soil.

Colossal political problems arise, however, if the U.S. public believes in the advance 9/11 knowledge (whether held by Israel or elements of the U.S. intelligence community) that was not acted upon to stop the World Trade Center and Pentagon attacks.
