The problem is NOT illegal aliens. These people are our neighbors! The problem is all of the free trade agreements, that outsource our jobs to other poor countries, at cheap labor rates. The companies leave America, and go to poor countries where they can exploit the people, and the environment, and leave American workers high and dry, stealing the jobs and retirement funds!

Even though the companies save themselves lots of money, they greedily stick it all back in their own pockets; and the pockets of their political allies. They don't protect the new environment where they have moved their companies to. They don't provide health care to their new employees. They don't share the profits, or benefits, with their new employees. They don't pass the lower overhead for manufacturing the product, on to American consumers.
The gov. doesn't penalize these companies for leaving us. Ex. Brazil, which has ethanol made from sugar cane, has to pay an enormous tariff of 2.5 per cent ad valor em tariff per barrel, and a second duty of $0.54 per gallon.(Source Washington Post" March 28, 2006, "Senate panel to probe impact of MTBE phaseout" By Chris Baltimore, Reuters) If the companies that desert us had to pay tariffs, and high duties, like Brazil with their ethanol, they would not be deserting the American people. We would be making money, buying our goods, and loving the 'helpful visitors! The economy would revive again!
