Let's be Frank. There are segments of the Federal Government, not to mention various Right-wing forces in their own right, who think and operate like the Mafia, so setting up an assassination of Obama is certainly within the realm of possibility. This is how the far Right -wing has operated for decades, with "extreme prejudice" toward threats to their power.
Obama would be well-advised to invest heavily in his own security forces and always be skeptical of the Secret Service's and FBI's unadulterated commitment to his safety. We have seen how well they protected liberal or progressive candidates in the 1960's.

Obama really should hire his own protection and ride in a bullet proof vehicle..If he isn't willing to play ball with the global power elite who control and run our government with their puppets in the administration as their mouth pieces he is in grave danger. It's their way or else. Assassination and genocide are tools they use without batting an eye (along with numerous others) as a means to insure their corrupt power and agendas continue. Two groups he definately should avoid for security are the Secret Service and the CIA.
There are many among our elected in the House and Senate who are members of these powerful groups which explains how so little gets passed that would benefit the people or to hold this puppet administration and their puppets accountable for their treasonist crimes against humanity.
I have heard that Obama has Brzezinski as an advisor which is worrysome since Brzezinski is a Trilateral member which is another of the power elite groups. Which makes me wonder if Brzezinski has found that Sen Obama is resistant to being another of the puppets and passed that on to the powers that be...hence the message Sen Obama got by the sudden lack of security. I hope he will immediately connect the dots.
The race card they have tried to play hasn't worked. The brainwashing and propaganda on that agenda just in the last two presidential terms has been less than successful. I think the American people are more concerned with what a person is inside, their truth and integrity, than what color they might happen to be on the outside..
Another concern is if Sen Obama is on the ballot for the Nov. election will the last desperate option be played...that of martial law to keep us from even having an election. There is nothing to low for these power groups to use to keep their stanglehold on control and power.
Hillary is no problem for them since she is married to a Bilderberg member and would just continue to further the goals of these power elite groups as Bill Clinton did with NAFTA and the like. I've felt that the 'impeachment' crap with him was deliberately brought to unite the left behind him in such a way as to keep attention directly away from the harmful policies he was touting that further harmed the American people while furthering the wealth and goals of the elite. I don't think another version of charm and good ole boy like we got with Bill Clinton is something the majority of American people will easily swallow again (minus a few of course who don't deal in reality).

One is to believe enough of it will keep you alive. Hillary paid homage to the motorcyclist who lost his life while on her Texas campaign, as much as to say there are enough protectors to guarantee mortality.
The other is to reason that there are no guarantees and that the worst enemy in life is fear. Barack knows national heavy handedness, not just in Indonesia and Kenya, but also by working on the south side of Chicago. To lift your head without putting your nose in the air seems to be his way to position himself.
Questions: Is it helpful when his followers worry over his safety? Is it different for which race does the worrying? Is anyone going to sing "We Shall Overcome?"

Hillary Clinton and John McCain were widely acknowledged as the favorites after the 2004 stolen election and despite setbacks aplenty including the ridiculous stroll through the Baghdad market by the war criminal McCain with half the fucking army that was exposed as a fraud right after New Hampshire they were both back in business.
The shadow government had their fix already in, neither Clinton or McCain would have threatened business as usual both are tools of the Israel Lobby and the Military Industrial Complex and Corporate Fascists so that which ever one came out as the 'winner' the system would have continued to funciton in all of it's vile corruptness.
They didn't count on the mass appeal of Obama though nor in the total rejection of Hillary Rodham-Clinton by the antiwar base who are still smarting over the betrayal of the 2006 Vichy Dems. That threw a huge wrench into the process and now that the right wingers are equally rejecting Insane McCain the unthinkable has occurred in that neither of the bought and paid for choices of the establishment may allow for a peaceful transition through 'legitimate' processes putting other means back on the table. It will be messy though, we have history in the government backed murders of the big four JFK,Malcolm X, MLK and RFK as well as a growing and increasing segment of the population that not only distrusts but is coming to hate the establishment. The internet has allowed this and it is the one piece of the grand plan that the bastards never counted on.
This is scary news and if the decision is made by those whose original coup took out John F. Kennedy to proceed in a similar manner with Obama it could potentially trigger a mass uprising.
Very convenient how the police state infrastructure is all in place, the camps are there, the Constitution is just a goddamned piece of paper and the police have been militarized.
This could get very, very ugly

You are truly a thinking, reality based person! I hope you talk much with others, are vocal with your local political party and submit letters to the editor. Wouldn't hurt to email some of the hosts of Air America too since some are a bit off of true reality.

I'm not American, thus not so close to these events as many here, however, being non American also allows me to view these events at arms length without bias.
From my perspective, Obama is no different then any of the other nominees.
I share the view of t quigley with his/her Sham election post, the evidance to sustain what's said there is readily available for anyone with a PC.
IF, however, Obama has changed his colours, and no longer wishes to be part of the NWO, it is then highly probable his term on this mortal coil will be short.
My own belief ? Folks I do not believe we will witness another election in the US for many a year.
I believe there will be another 911, and martial law will be implemented, that King George will be annointed.

Many people are fearful that the Republicans will have Obama killed as he nears the nomination. After he wins Texas and Ohio, he should be kept away from public view and only ride in armored cars with bullet proof glass.

I think they'll do martial law before assassination...
Since, under the present unfortunate circumstances, an assassination on behalf of the power elite may be the trip point for civil unrest "requiring" the imposition of martial law, why not just find some other reason and do the martial law thing before the election, thereby getting rid of the election problem? IOW, if we're gonna have martial law anyway, might as well do it in the next 3 to 6 months and get it over with.
An attack on Iran or Syria by the USrael sounds like just what our masters need.

Obamanation IS part of the 'global power elite' - his wife is Chicago branch of CFR. He is CFR, AIPAC, pro-war, pro-expanded government, and on Judicial Watch's list of top 10 most corrupt politicians (although he's done Nothing of any merit during his time in the Senate). He's no different from Billary or InsaneMcCain. He, too, is being allowed to run and his popularity stems only from being a Black man symbolizing white man's guilt trip. Obama is as much a sham as all the others except Ron Paul who is the Real Deal.

I attended a Bush rally here back in 2002. By the time I reached the metal screening, the Secret Service motioned us on through and area to the side of the metal detectors. They told us "they are off anyway, just come on through." Myself and those behind me were not checked.
