All these criminals who have seated themselves in the Oval Office, by devious and criminal actions, against the will of the people, all must be impeached, all must be incarcerated where they can do no more harm. And it must be done now. In the interest of justice to the injured we must also take back the wealth these criminals have stolen from us and from the world, for only with it can we hope to save the globe and repair its ability to host life. These are hardened criminals of the worst type. People who torture the helpless and the innocent are filth.

As a journalist, it was my job, and the duty of all journalists, to inform the people, to tell them the truth, all of the truth, and nothing but the truth. Shame to those who did and still do otherwise.

Each and all of us who took the creed and the way of the pen and plow, rather than that of the sword, we all know that only fully informed citizens who are reaching toward a democratic government can hope to achieve such governance of, by and for the people with the information we glean and deliver. We are responsible for the damage done.

Shame on the media that have, become as corrupt as the corporations to whom they toady, that have become a tool to corporate evil and corporate greed and by this shameful exhibition have criminalized the profession meant to rank as the highest and most honorable and that should exist as a tool of justice.

Shame on the media that have shamed all of us. We the world's writers, know that we are in a large proportion responsible for this world at war against the innocent, for the millions of horribly injured who will never walk again, see again or breath without pain again, for the thirsty and the hungry-shame on you.

Mr. Bohne is a clockmaker and activist. He HATES the US Government, and without stretching the truth (reality) will do anything to dig up dirt on any of these bastards, as long as it's REAL dirt.

the American Sheeple

Well, Emily, i agree with you entirely. However perhaps i might be excused from this indictment because, if you look at my articles, i've suggested the dissolution of this regime from day one. To the point where twice the Secret Service, George's Mukhabarat, have paid me a visit. This entire social control system is necrotic. Necrosis takes time, and by looking at US history in it's entirety, without ideology, you can see where this country was a nation of terrorists from 1787 onwards, not that they hadn't been murdering millions of natives long before then. The US has never told the truth about anything at all, including Pearl Harbor, the USS Maine, The sinking of the Lusitania, Vietnam, the space shuttle disasters, the faulty voting system, Iran Contra, selling weapons to terrorists, murdering elected officials in Iran, Vietnam, Chile, to name a few. Finally there is the fraud that is euphemistically referred to as the election of George Walker Bush and all the calamity that has followed. By law, Bush is a felon. Everyone that is associated with him are felons for aiding and abetting a known, vetted felon, to wit, George Walker Bush. Yes, the American people are lackadasical cowards. My belief due to the available data, factual and evidential is that people will continue to write their "elected" representatives who aren't interested in anything but keeping their jobs, and continue to behave as if there is or ever was a democracy in this country. Writing, begging for funding and etc. Why, a person could make a job out of this nonsense!

Thank You

Finally! Finally a modicum of truth peeks out from between the fingers of the propogandists' fists that have molded our citizenry into a festering mass of self deluded clay. Thank you Emily; thank you Ted for your collective courage to speak the truth. I have seen the enemy.....

Thanks for telling me...

Ted: of course You are one of the few of us I, too, have...I am speaking to the many...and we are few

The day Reagan became Pres. I had two contracts on my desk. One from Dominick Abel, N.Y Lit. Ag. top of the realm then and now. He had contactd me to syndicate my column, called it unforgettable. To me this meant no more cardboard in my shoes for soles, no more half peanut btr sandwiches for dinner. It had taken me 10 years, but even as a hated boat-rocker, I would now have gas in the car, and I would not again be hungry.

The phone rang and I stopped half way thru my signature. It was Dominick. "Couldn't syndicate yoou now if you were Ed Abbey, he mumbled. the phone rang again. "Reagan doesn't like what you write," the kid, now John Carlson, yelled, delighted. Why? delighted. I'll let you guess at that. "And we want to give him his chance to..." I don't know that Reagan's staff ever told them so, as he stated. Doubt it. But you get the pic. The phone rang afternoon

Five hours later, as a journalist I was dead.

Oh! The other contract was from the P. I.

Also I was being read in Congress. I still have th letter I wrote, read there, but have lost the one from The Congress signed by a raft of them stating that Rare 2, the Wilderness Act, after they had listened to my letter, had passed with not one dissenting vote.

Good night. em

As an 81 year old vet of WW11 I fear that the current zionist/neocon administration represents the greatest threat to the dream and promise of our founding fathers that we have thus far faced. Unless this congress abides by it oath to protect and defend the constitution, I hold little hope that we can avoid a fascist take over.

shame indeed

To watch the press refuse to ask the hard questions that the public needs answers to is an absolute disgrace. Then to have them laugh and joke with those they have to know are criminals, yes, criminals by their own admission, is disgusting. With the possible exception of Keith Olberman, Helen Thomas and Lou Dobbs, They are all a shameful lot.

Shame on us all.....

Many writers and commenters decry the sad situation that this country has degenerated into.

Sadly, it is the fault of the American citizenry that this has come to pass.

We live in a country that has been on the moral and poltical slide for many decades. It has become this way because it was allowed by the electorate of this great land.

Our government almost exactly mirrors the typical American.

*Typical Americans have an onerous amount of debt....so does the government.

*Typical Americans are poorly informed....so is the government.

*Typical Americans are unconcerned with the plight of the less fortunate....same for our government.

*Typical Americans are apathetic about being properly educated....the government allows this to continue.

*Typical Americans are poor planners and organizers...
This is also the case with our leaders.

*Typical Americans would rather fight, bitch, and holler their ideas rather than engage in constructive dialogue....
Obviously a trait of our government.

*Typical Americans find the problems of our government and our society to be "unfixable"....The government knows this and maintains the status quo.

Strangely.....thinking Americans do not buy into any of the typical Americans idea base.....sadly, thinking Americans are a small minority of the electorate.

It would be wonderful if a small group of highly intelligent, motivated, socially aware citzens had a council which ran our governmnet......a true fantasy.

We are probably stuck with the type of representation which, as a whole, we elect......for whatever reason we elect them (fear, political handouts, tax cuts...)

Perhaps, when the citizens of this land finally hit rock bottom they will make a change.....I'm not holding my breath.

Thanks for your attention....Mr. Brian Mathes

Shame on You

Emily,

In your condemnation of the media, you fail to mention its biggest indiscretion of all - its refusal to talk at all about the 9-11 Truth movement and the mountain of overwhelming evidence that this nightmare through which we are currently sleepwalking began that day and was pre-planned in order to create a pretext and justification for everything that has happened since.

Want to make a difference? Then do your homework and start writing about 9-11 Truth. Bush bashing will get us nowhere.
