On the Election Defense Radio show today (Tues. Jan. 22, 8:00 - 9:00 pm Eastern / 5:00 - 6:00 pm Pacific) I'll be interviewing Mary Vollero and Bob Brownlee, whose

grassroots election integrity group Concerned Voters of Centre County (PA) has successfully carried out two election exit polls in '06 and '07 with analytic assistance from

statisticians at Pennsylvania State University.

To "tune in" via the Internet, go to http://www.toginet.com and click on either of the two Audio Players (Flash or Windows Media) you will see in the upper right corner.

A podcast of the show will be available at the Toginet site and at EDA's web site in a day.

Mary and Bob will tell how their group of volunteers decided they needed to run exit polls to assess the truthfulness of the paperless DRE voting machines they are obliged to

vote on in Centre County, and how they went about doing that.

Their message to citizens everywhere is:

"Yes, you can monitor your electronic elections with scientifically valid exit polls, and here's how to do it!"

See the CVCC project page at the EDA website, with links to the CVCC 2006 and 2007 exit poll studies.

The 2006 survey, compared to the 2007 survey, shows signs of statistically suspicious goings-on in the 2006 midterm election.

On the same wavelength, see this webpage by Election Integrity Director Steven Freeman and polling expert Ken Warren, president of The Warren Poll,

presenting method and procedures for citizen-conducted election verification exit polls:

"Instructions for Conducting an Election Verification Exit Poll"
