During Katrina- as widely reported by CNN, CNBC etc., the US government went door to door forcibly taking away peoples firearms? Blackwater was even deployed on US streets.

But it's not just Republican administrations, Democrats are guilty too.

During the Waco, Texas siege,  the US government put troops on US soil- ramming tanks into buildings claiming to be protecting children- while killing them.

Did you know that at rallies and demonstrations such as at the DNC and RNC that the police are not only supposed to protect property but also every citizen's rights to assemble peacefully and deliver your redresses to your representative?  But do you feel safer when you see a cop or do you feel uneasy?

Did you know that the bailouts are illegal and have no basis in our Constitution, which are leaders are sworn to uphold?

Our system was built on liberty.

And so I submit to you that we no longer live in America, at least not the America that we've fought and died for; not the America we all love, but a Corporate America, where elections are bought and paid for. Third parties are kept weak and ineffectual by media black-out, and corporations lavishing billions on their hand picked and therefore corrupted major party candidates.

Politicians can't even tell us what makes a citizen, so it's no wonder they refuse to protect America's borders for fear of upsetting a campaign contributor's labor pool.

Gangs run the streets of major (and minor) cities, most high schools, a growing number of middle schools, and if we believe the lie that they're not containable, we're just as stupid as 'they' treat us.

Drugs are available in and around every school, even your own neighborhood. If the government can not keep drugs out of a high security prison they certainly can not keep them out of your children's school.

Isn't this the very thing we were supposed to protect our families from in defense of Life, Liberty, Justice, and the pursuit of happiness?

So what should our course of action be?  In '06 we voted out the republican congress to end the war, and yet, instead we got a surge. We dutifully called our Senators during the first bailouts in opposition 100 to 1, and yet, instead we get even more bailouts for automakers.

Our 'leaders' have gone so far as to sell us out to China. They have quite literally put our security, self-sustainability, and thereby our lives at risk by their treasonous covert activities. It's no wonder that many Americans live in fear. We are threatened on all sides, and even by those we elected and entrusted.

We've allowed our country to be taken from us, for the benefit of the few and the total decimation of the vast many.

Whether you call it the world financial structure, the U.S. culture of waste, or the ability of the common man to make a decent living, the system is broken. It's time for the common man to go on strike. Join or support the March on Washingon (more...)
