Think Progress article headline:

"Politico's Mike Allen claims that author of DHS report on rightwing extremism couldn't be from 'real America.'"

The article goes on to say that, "Politico's Mike Allen added fuel to the outrage fire, claiming that the report couldn't have been written by someone from the "real America." Quoting Allen: "I think some bureaucrat who wrote this report like misstated in a way that doesn't comport with your or my observations about the real America. I think it was somebody, who written inside the Beltway, who maybe has fantasies about what happens outside in the real America."

Let's address Allen as representative of the rightwing extremist crowd such as Limbaugh, Beck, Hannity, Coulter and such.

Mike, you are apparently unaware of the most recent election, where the Democrats overwhelming won the presidential election and gained even more seats for a majority in Congress. What that means, Mike, is that the majority of the people in the United States are against your rightwing extremism. It means that in a democracy, the majority rules, and we are now the majority. Yeah, that's right, we, your opponents, are now in charge. We are now the real America, by popular vote, and you are not. You are in the minority, and the minority you represent is not the real America.

You feel targeted by the DHS report about the danger of rightwing extremism. That's understandable because, well, you and your crowd are rightwing extremists. If you were not, you would not think you're the target. The kicked dog always barks.

It's time for you and the likes of you to look around and realize that you have lost, you have been defeated. You need to realize that as you continue to wallow in the comfort of your rightwing extremism, as if nothing has happened to completely change what happened during the past eight years, you and yours are no longer in power. We, the real America, are.

I know you don't want to face up to it, but George Bush is no longer president. Barack Obama is. Yes, it's true. The Democrats won and are now in charge. The real America of rightwing extremists that you so desperately want to be a part of no longer exists. Well, except for the small minority of ineffectual, hardcore, rightwingers, such as yourself, which best fits the description of the unreal America. The real America, the people who support the Democrats and President Obama are now in the majority, We are the real America. You are not. You are not a part of the real America anymore, made so by an official election, by majority rule.

If you don't believe it, just go around asking people who they support and are in favor of running the country. The majority will tell you that it is not you. And, those people who voted against you and your rightwing extremism actually do live outside the beltway. Guess where they live. Out here in the real America.

You're going to have to admit it. No one in the real America listens to you anymore. No one in the real America wants to hear what you have to say. When it comes to what we gonna do, your vote no longer counts.

Give it up, Mike. Look at the reality of the thing. We are now the real America. You are not. We won. You lost. Get used to it.
