Some readers may view the following works as more politics than art. But what the hey. OpEdNews is about politics, right? And what's in a word (politics or art) anyway? Tracey's pictures pack a punch, and they're good art. They also happen to capture my politics, but that's not why they're here.

I asked Tracy to explain the "mediums" she used to create the following works and she replied: "1. Flag is tempera on cut paper. 2. Impeachment - photo. 3. Army guys (on road), ink and pencil. 4. Hiroshima - pastel on velvet paper. 5. Vet - photo. 6. GW - collage, cut paper, pastel." Tracey also said that "Army Guys" won an honorable mention in the Bellevue, WA, Arts Show in 1984.

And she concluded one email with: "Can't thank you enough it's nice to know these won't be just figments of my own angst anymore. May the New Year bring us all restitution! Cheers, Tracey"
