SEN. KENNEDY GOES TO WASHINTON
Sen. Kennedy voted to block medicare cuts to reduce payments to doctors.
Sen. Kennedy made a dramatic return to the Senate floor, the first in seven weeks. The legislation was approved by a veto proof vote of 69to30. Nevertheless Bush has promised to veto it.
