Late Monday evening, a skinny little man from Ohio stood to address the mostly empty seats of the House or Representatives. His words need no further embellishment here. We can, however, be grateful for this mountain of political integrity and courage finally after too many years of treachery by an incumbent government and cowardice by the so-called opposition, even after we had returned it to majorities in both houses of Congress..Now, that the king's evil nakedness has been at long last publicly announced in our Congress, what are WE to do? Allow Congressman Kucinich to dangle alone amidst the more "prudent, reasonable and less extreme" positioning of his fellow "representatives of the people" and the pontificating pundits of prudence? And are we to bask smugly in celebration at this "example," exchange acknowledgement of our moral superiority, call a special meeting, re-paint the signs for this week's sidewalk demonstration?.Hey, "life goes on" -- or does it? The answer is NO! And Kucinich will be squashed like a bug if we, WE permit it..Now is the time to exercise our disgust and rage actively and productively. Now is the time -- lest we waste last night's rare display of courage -- to finally DO SOMETHING THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE..I think it should be done in Washington, and it will take a million or more of us, camping on the Mall, living on the streets, or wherever we are most visible, and we need to remain in place however long it takes, whatever the circumstances, the discomforts and the threats. We need to go to the seat of treachery and power and not return until we deserve and regain America."-"-"-"-"-..Rafe Pilgrim

Sharing a house of his own design with Spanky the cat, Darla a pit bull, and a foundling of mysterious breed named Alfalfa -- all collectively known as Our Gang -- he spends his time "productively: writing poetry, working for peace, and gazing at the sky."

Call Dennis and thank him - (202)225-5871, then...call your members of Congress and/or the Senate demanding that they get the 'lead out' and proceed ASAP to launch/support the impeachment process.
Congressman's Kucinich's office was very appreciative of my call in support of his bravery and timely call to action. My congressman, Paul "No Playboy in the PX" Broun's (R-GA, 10th) office was not so receptive. His staffer snickered when I mentioned Kucinich and his articles of impeachment and my respect for his 'patriotism.' That's OK. We'll deal with Broun come November.

What do you expect us to do? Kucinich went through this routine, when -sometime last year with his articles of impeachment against Cheney?
The result was a collective sigh, and a shrug of the shoulders from most who knew about it or who even bothered to pay attention.
Why was Kucinich delivering this address at night when who knows how many other representatives were in attendance? Why wasn't this given day time priority? Where are the comments and rebuttals from the other representatives on the isssue?
The case for impeachment has been made repeatedly for over 5 years now, but few outside of the alternative news outlets are even aware of it.
The problem is immense. So, what would you have us do now that will begin to make a difference?

What I would desperately like "to expect us to do" is to get our fat complacent backsides down on the Mall or into the streets of Washington to capture the attention of the media and the sympathy of the world and to STAY in place until we deserve and regain America. And what we need for the so-called peace movement to do is to forgo their precious organizational identities, their "festivals," and their petty rivalries, special messages, peace celebrities and egos, and to help us move the sufficient force into place (a million or more). That would do it. The alternatives are (a) revolution, or (b) continued repression and treachery.

Have PDA, Move On etc declare PUBLICLY that they will withdraw support from Barack Obama and EVERY other Dem who do not support it PUBLICLY NOW.
They can then declare PUBLIC support of Ralph Nader and/or Cynthia McKinney who have both called for Impeachment. Then declare support for any and all Independents/Greens who are supporting Impeachment.
Or else you all can stop complaining about the Dems cowardice and look elsewhere to blame.

Thanks for that and also, please take a look at my reaction to listening to Kucinich last night. It was one of the proudest moments of my life to think that I knew this man and had worked on his campaign. We must not stop working now. We have the brass ring, let's grab for it.
Flood Obama's office with calls saying without a response to the drive for impeachment, we will boycott his election bid and go elsewhere. As loyal members of the Democratic party, this is non negotiable.

Dennis was and is always the brave one out in front of the curve. Now, yes, we need to take action too. Yes, PDA needs to hear from us all that we will not stand by if this is not followed up on.
Shame on PDA for not making a statement in accord with what Dennis did. Please see my article today as well, Three Impeachment Memories. It will add some color to this whole story. Peace at work.

This morning's Florida Times-Union (Jacksonville's ONLY Newspaper) featured the following headlines: "Faster, cheaper, smarter: Latest iPhone is loaded," and "Stay safe from sick tomatoes." There were also full reports of yesterday's American and National League NIGHT games. But there was NARY A MENTION ANYPLACE IN THIS SO-CALLED NEWSPAPER OF KUCINICH' ARTICLES OF IMPEACHMENT.
That's where we are folks; IT'S UP TO US. See you on the Mall?

The Government Of the Corporations, By the Corporations, and For the Corporations will now have to change its course.
Because with this kind of MAINSTREAM sentiment being so pro-impeachment, surely they stand to lose everything. They mean er....business...where their "public work" is concerned. Therefore, they HAVE To back impeachment, in Congress and in the Media.
I think all the resistance we saw previously will be very changed now. Torture and the Plame incident are on the public radar, and are obviously fueling pro-impeachment sentiment. Thanks to the journalists who helped get that back out on the radar: Perhaps they did it to help impeachment along? Smart people. Thank you, thank you!
We have new hope, folks.
Let's get word out. After a certain point, it's lame and even irresponsible to moan about the media and the lack of action in Congress, unless *we* do *our own* part.
Please....send out chain emails, asking others to do the same.
COntact journalists, begging them to cover the issues and stressing that life/death are at stake (Israel radio announced Bush's plans to attack Iran within the next few months!!!)
Contact college newsletter editors: They are more likely to print this stuff, and kids will talk to their parents. Word will get around!
Contact Moveon.org and PDA nd ask them to follow the excellent suggestion above: Withdraw support from Candidates who do NOT back impeachment. Alternatively, they could take a poll asking members to weigh in: Should they withdraw support from those who blockade impeachment?
Write letters to the editor (or the college newsletter editors, or the underground journalists and smaller local papers).
Post to blogs and websites. Vote on Digg to get impeachment articles to the top of the page. Send out emails asking friends to do the same.
WORD WILL GET OUT! THERE"S HOPE!! Thank you all. PS And life depends on this. Call in to work sick if you have to, but please do your part. Thanks!

The central bankers stole the election and put Bush, the self professed 'Commander guy,' into office with the express purpose of beginning a conflagration that would lead EVENTUALLY, into a 'general nuclear war.'
The military has repeatedly declined his request to attack Iran with nuclear weapons several times, and the 'Commander guy,' is now; effectively finished.
His constant misuse and abuse of the office of President, has brought about his 'loss of power.'
"Power is not a brick that can be carried from place to place, rather it is a process that 'Vanishes' once the supporting responses cease.
Webster Tarpley has reported that a group called the "Committee of the Principals" is now directing military activities without Bush or Cheney in the loop. For most purposes, Bush-Cheney power, has thankfully at last, "Vanished."
The general public is not yet aware of the significance of a launch of a nuclear tipped cruise missile last year from a B-52 out of Minot air force base.
6 nuclear tipped cruise missiles left Minot and 5 arrived at Barksdale air force base in Louisiana. The 6 missiles were running "Hot," that is the 'Pin' that separates the nuclear core sections from overheating while in storage, were pulled.
The nuclear payload of the 6 missiles were in detonation mode. This was not an accident. We are the LIVING DEAD.
The decision to subject the human race to an all out nuclear holocaust was made by the Central bankers in 1946. This decision has never been changed.
Our nuclear war fighting elite have staked their seats out in the massive underground shelters that we have provided for them; we the ordinary people are scheduled to remain on the surface of the planet and be turned into nuclear waste.
Representative Kucinich is taking the first step to remedy the situation by following procedure and taking the correct, legal ally provided for route; Impeachment.
If the congress is unable or unwilling to follow a legal ally proscribed procedural method to remove this 'Commander guy' and allows this persistent threat of an all out nuclear war to the people of this country and the world to remain, they will lose also, whatever last vestige of power that remains within their ability to exercise.
Do the right thing. Sign the Kucinich resolution and follow the procedure to impeach and remove from office and end the threat that this 'Commander guy' continues to present.
