May I begin with a question? What political force or point of view do the elites ultimately fear?
The DLC right wing dem machine? Thumbs down, since they have made a science of sucking up to the elites -- clearly, because their dearest wish is to BE elites.
How about the Republican Party? That, of course, is a rhetorical question since the GOP (Greed on Parade) has long since disappeared up the you know what of the elites.
Well, then how about religious fanatics? You know, dufus Armageddon types who really think the world is going to go *boom* any day now. Now it's common knowledge that president pinhead is an Armageddonite, so every morning he must look out the window to see if he's still in biological reality, or "lifted up" into the post *boom* paradise glassy-eyed television evangelists keep predicting. Sorry George, you're still here -- and probably best not to hold your breath.
An oh yes, Sarah I'd stop looking out that window too if I were you.
In any case, far from fearing these killers in the name of God, the elites almost certainly find their primate-like gibbering an endless source of amusement.
OK, so who DO the elites fear down to their DLC manicured toes?
Yes, it’s another rhetorical question, since the answer is self evident. They fear PROGRESSIVES AND LIBERALS and that's the ONLY people they fear, since the rest of the political world is on the payroll.
And why do they fear us and do everything to get their bought and paid for minions (e.g., the DLC and the GOP, etc.) to discount and ridicule progressive policies and values as much as possible?
Hey, this is an easy questionnaire. They are actually terrified of us because in the 6,000 year "war" between the "Haves" (who always win) and the "Have Not's" (who always lose), progressives and liberals (and hey, throw in socialists while you at it) are passionately committed to values and polices that express the will of the "Have Not's", i.e., basically the entire planet.
Or said slightly differently, in this genocidal Class War against the Have Not’s, progressive are on the side of the working class, not the side of the Paris Hilton's, whose designer wardrobes run into hundreds of thousands of dollars. Think about that and think about how elites typically have SEVERAL mansions and so many top of the line cars they probably never get around to driving most of them.
And think about how pleased they must be that even though they live like literal Gods and Goddesses, the "cattle people" (that's us) pay all the taxes and supply all the cannon fodder children for the money cow oil wars of the elites. Hey, it's just the middle and lower class blood of our children that is traded for fossil fuels, so no problema -- right?
It doesn't take that much raw intelligence to see that the core sickness of the human species is the Have and Have Not moral insanity, and the best definition of the liberal vision (although we should start leaving these "names" and focus only on issues), is a moral/rational/patriotic commitment to liberate the "Have Not's" from the vampire "Haves".
So, it's now diamond clear why basically EVERYONE takes shots at progressives and that is because basically all political non-progressives have an elite hand up his/her puppet identity and thus babbles on cue the elite party line -- and that includes the DLC just as much as the RNC. What proof? Just look at the behavior (still going on!) of the 2006 Congress of DLC right wing dem traitors who did everything but run Bush's bath water while they obeyed his every commandment (which, in turn, was an elite commandment).
So, this is the United States of the Elites -- EXCEPT for those of us for whom patriotism, rationality, morality, and sanity still are the virtues we try to live by.
