The goalposts are close and our team is kicken' ass! Half the pugs have their helmets on backwards and their cheerleaders have all gone home (nobody was watching). And their mascot monkey, George W. Bush (hic!) is slurring his gibbering.

Hey, what do George W. Bush and Sarah Palin have in common? Neither of them can spell tsunami. And George just keeps having such trouble with "nuclear" energy. If you can't pronounce it, it's got to be inferior to fossil fuels; is that your "mental process" George? Why don't you wake up McCain and see what he knows -- or used to know? Don't bother Sarah the Hate Queen. Even three syllable words push her envelope.

And Obama is Civilization's cutting edge.

If it's ever been a time to run a tight ship, it's now. The day is close for what should be the most important election in American history. The stakes are life and death and we are fighting limitless evil.
If we lose, American Democracy will be dead FOREVER. If we lose, the necessary ecosystems of our species will quickly be destroyed by McCain and Palin -- and hello human species extinction.
If we lose, very quickly Russia and/or China and/or several European countries will declare war on America. Why? Well, we Americans always tend to forget that the Earth doesn't "belong" to us and when McCain and Palin start murdering what little is left of the human ecosystems, you can take it to the bank that they won't be watching television while we're doing it. No, they will DECLARE WAR on us which, we'll lose in 2 or 3 months. Actually, the entire planet will lose this war since more nukes will be flying around the planet than birds.
But if we win this Presidential and Congressional election (and we WILL win if our charge to the goalposts continues with the present, passionate commitment), then very civilization itself will be given a second chance. The entire WORLD, for example, well knows that this election is also fighting for a return to sanity and rationality for the entire planet.
So, when your team's out there on the field fighting their hearts out and victory is within our reach, what do we do? Hey, we do what all "contests" do when the team needs maximum support, i.e., EVERYONE GET OUT THERE AND VOTE!
McCain is death.
Palin is death.
Biden is life.
Obama is life.

ps If prayer's your thing, may I suggest you make any kind of deal you think will work with God to help us save ourselves from these evil devils from hell, And if prayer's not your thing, then please, please, keep doing everything you can to make sure EVERYONE GETS OUT THERE AND VOTES.
The good news is that IF basically everyone does get out there and vote, this election actually will be a slam dunk (so say the Las Vegas odds makers, who are practically never wrong about anything). Only we can defeat ourselves at this stage with election passivity. However, may I tentatively celebrate that so far that vast percentages of us DO seem to be voting our hearts out?
