Global Game for Planet Domination

There is a Global Domination Game in progress. The election of our current president, Barack Obama, may indicate that a lot of people have become conscious of what is happening and decided to stop playing the game, but the game still goes on behind the scenes to a large extent, and will keep going for a long time to come most likely. The folks playing this game, a handful of nearly invisible mega-rich, behind the scenes and pulling strings, managing people like puppets, must be engaged in unplanned obsolescence of their own neurons. "W" had to go get a lot of help from booze and drugs, then the neurons cooperated and shut up. This made mega-stupidity possible
 
An Attempt That Will Probably Fail:
 
1. Make the people wage slaves so you get rich and they get poor ... cha-ching. (humans have been playing this game for thousands of years);
 
2. Make the people so hungry for a way to get happy they become addicted to alcohol and drugs. Then import and sell the drugs that help them escape their poor little lives once in awhile... cha-ching;
 
3. Then criminalize the stuff so you can create a prison system and charge the other people already enslaved to pay for this too while you make a huge profit on this game ... cha-ching;
 
4. Herd the "sheeple" with this and many other like means, like exporting hard labor jobs (what little the sheeple had left ), so they will very quickly find themselves at the edge of a monetary-survival-gone-wrong cliff. When they fall, they find themselves at the beginning of species extinction. Cha-ching for awhile;
 
5 Be dumb enough to think that this scheme, and other like schemes, like phony wars, can put yourselves in a position to plunder a few backward countries in order to easily get their natural resources like oil. Not working very well!!
 
For a few hundred to dupe a species a few billion strong and get the game to go all the way so that a handful of people inherit the earth is highly improbable.  Based on the fact that it is easy to get people to enslave others and spread the sick social/political game all over the earth and eventually create human-species-collapse  .... MIGHT BE POSSIBLE! 
 
Many empires have risen and fallen. When the games get ridiculously horrible they fail. Do we have to do this again?
 
We humans have gotten so good at techno-planet-harvest and techno-people-harvest that in a few decades not much will be left for future generations. We may not be able to do all this again.
 
Even if the game for ownership of the planet and the killing off of most people did work, it would not work very well. The unlucky ones would be the ones left alive on a dying planet. The mad scramble that is in effect now will eventually (if not corrected) be nothing more than a few hundred sociopaths attempting to blow each other up because they feel there is not enough to share between them on the entire wrecked planet.
 
It is almost a relief that it has gone this far. At last we are at the moment of decision. This species must now either get the ball rolling in the other direction or find a quick and merciful end.
 
The middle class is down-sizing. Many of them are not yet aware of the conspiracy above them or the suffering below them. But they should be able to see that the middle class itself is in deep trouble.  Too many of this still huge class of people do not see that there is even a problem. They are living in la la land while the rest of the planet is in trouble. Their conspicuous consumption and  their temporary comfy cozy lives (now fast disappearing) is a way to stay anesthetized.  But the "piper is piping" and a time to pay dues long unpaid is coming.
