DEMOCRATIC CONVENTION / DAY TWO ~ HILLARY'S TAINTED LEGACY

Hillary Clinton's tainted legacy will be her self-serving ' 3 AM ' Ad which she used to disqualify Obama and elevate herself and John McCain, during the primaries, at the expense of the Democratic party ~ knowing full well that John McCain would use that Ad, as he is now, to disqualify Obama as Commander in chief : Allen L Roland As expected, Hillary Clinton devoted much of her speech last night to her own accomplishments, and her video introduction left the impression she had actually won. While the historic nature of her accomplishments is undeniable, the repeated suggestion that she lost the nomination because of sexism is not only astounding but self serving. But self-serving hubris and denial are the trademarks of the politically ambitious Clintons who have both left their mark on the Democratic party's wall of shame . Hillary's mark is John McCain's new television ad which uses Hillary's famous "3 AM Ad" to attack Obama ~ Hillary even appears in it and says Obama is not ready to be president whereas she and John McCain are. Bill Clinton's mark is the triangulation of a once strong and effective opposition party as well as the stain on Monica lewinsky's dress and both must now go quietly into the night before they inflict any more damage on the Democratic party.
Myself, and many others, are tired of the perpetual ego drama that surrounds the Clintons and here is the latest from the Washington Post ~ Former President Bill Clinton, who will take his self serving moment tonight at the Democratic National Convention in Denver, will not be on hand to hear Barack Obama’s acceptance speech Thursday at Invesco Field, sources have told CNN. Hillary Clinton, however, will attend the event, but a number of her top advisers ~ including her campaign chairman Terry McAuliffe ~ will skip town prior to Obama’s coronation, according to a Washington Post report . http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2008/aug/27/uselections2008.usa
This is typical Clinton ego opera ~ mouth the words of unity but wield the barely concealed dagger of division and wounded ego and pride. The Clintons are a legend in their own ambitious minds and refuse to face the reality of a multicultural Democratic party as well as a new direction in this increasingly interconnected globalized age.

What?
I think you missed the mark, Mr. Roland, it is Obama who is tainted. Hillary Clinton, while I have not agreed with her on some of her positions, has at least HAD a postion. How many times has Obama voted "present"? How many times has he voted against the principles of the democratic party? The answer is too many. The purpose of the primary is to choose a nominee who can win the general election for president. Obama is not qualified (neither is McCain), but the republicans would be foolish (as would any party) not to use what they can to win. This could have been the year that was, and it is failing. by Kellis R. I wish Obama was more of a Truman.
Truman would have stood up and delivered a speech reading Hillary and her husband out of the act. He would have listed every lie and con job that she pulled and he would have balled her out for being such a manipulator of so many suckers. Obama Tainted
Did Obama not think his America hating minister/church would not be televised or brought to light? You bring up a non-issue in the dirty game of campaigning. Obama Tainted
Greetings Carol, It is a great concern that the democratic party is backing an individual who spent 20 years in a church where hatred was preached, and he never stated that he didn't agree with that position, nor did he quit until after it was brought to light. He (Obama) stated that the Reverend Wright was his "spiritual" advisor, and, to take Obama at his word, then he must agree with the preaching of Reverend Wright. This country would not elect a KKK person as our president, so how can we elect someone who is closely parallel in their thinking, ie, hatred. I am no more racist in my thinking than a black individual would be when faced with the prospect of a white klansman running for office, and I would side with the black individual.
