A prominent monk *Ashin Gambira* was condemned to 12 years prison. But his case is not closed yet. He will probably get more than 50 years because there are so many charges against him.
Ashin Gambira is a spokesmonk for the Saffron Revolution and he spoke well of the protest leaders.
A Buddhist monk *Ashin Kelasa* from Mandalay was also sentenced to 35 years for his involvement in protests.
Two activists Tin Htoo Aung , Kam Lat Hkoat were sentenced to 33 years each, and another activist Kat Hkant Kwal was sentenced to 8 years imprisonment. They all have been convicted of involvement in last year protests led by the Buddhist monks.

THIS IS MONSTROUS AND GETTING WORSE!!!!

The Generals in Myanmar are pushing the limits of what the world will tolerate in terms of repression. It is time for people, that is to say Americans, to put the screws to them through correspondence with Obama and with your US senator, like Tom Udall!

I mentioned New Mexico Senator Tom Udall, for many reasons

Mostly having to do with his extraordinary help for Tibetans thus far, and make no mistake, Burmese Monks are being destroyed along with Democracy activists in Myanmar, like Tibetan monks and freedom activists are being destroyed in Tibet by China.

The Burmese Generals will push as viciously as they can since we are preoccupied  with a regime change and a new Presidency. We must see through their vicious and destructive games, with vigorous intervention at all levels, especially through diplomatic channels, before it is too late.

These oppressions will grow because Myanmar Generals think we will ignore it, and if we ignore it, they win their bet.

Reply: Thank you for your everything and comments

Thank you very much for your kindness and goodness to me. I am very sad in these days because many monks and people are being sentenced to long term prison. I am very concernced for them because they all were sentenced without their defence lawyers. Their defence lawyers were also sentenced to jail and transferred to remote prison. So what to do. We are helpless. Althought international community are condemning with loud speakers, they did not give their hands to Burmese people.

I am also want to be another Obama for a new changes. I do not like UN security council. They are dictatorships. They are wasting much money for nothing, sitting for their profits. If you ask me " Why recession? Where's the money?". I will point my finger at UN. All the problem in the world today points to UN's failures.
