Way back in 1961 the far sighted visionary Ronald Reagan warned against Medicare as socialism that would destroy the country. As Reagan said in opposing Medicare:
à ‚¬Å"If you don't do this and if I don't [stop] it, one of these days you and I are going to spend our sunset years telling our children, and our children's children, what it once was like in America when men were free."
Don't wait. Burn your Medicare card before it's too late. Save your soul. Don't die socialist. Better to burn your card or that of a love one than it is to burn in hell for being a socialist who would have the government feed the hungry, house the homeless or do unto the least of them.
Against government funding counseling between your doctor and you about end of life issues? Well, don't let government come between God and you. Refuse Medicare money. Pull the plug if you can't pay to breathe. Don't let the government pay to keep you on extended life support when you can go ahead and fly to heaven right away. Don't let socialist Medicare pay for your chemotherapy or surgery. Sell all you have and give it to the hospital and then have your descendants assume the balance of your debt. Surely the great-grandchildren of your great-grandchildren will be glad to pay for your treatment. If not, just bring back debt bondage and have the ingrates serve as indentured servants until the debt and interest are paid off.
Think Uncle Sam doesn't need to get involved with health related issues? Fine. Call Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity instead of the CDC when your family members start dropping like flies from the swine flu. After all, what does the government agency CDC really stand for? Conspiracy of Democrat Communists?
Stop government programs to control polio or yellow fever. It's survival of the fittest in this land of moneytheism, one United State of Mammon. As Rush Limbaugh said, this country is founded on the principle of us all being here for ourselves. Besides, eradicating mosquitos is just another form of environmental regulation. Not to mention that do-gooding Walter Reed did his research in Cuba. And just look at what Cuba became after government funded medical research was allowed just once!
Eradicate free education and school lunches for poor kids. That's the kind of socialist meddling they do in France and other sissy places. If their parents can't afford to feed them then they shouldn't have had them. Don't waste money on educating them. Let them skip school and go directly to prison, a real growth industry that can provide real jobs. So long as they are private prisons, mind you.
Then again, public education is pure socialism. The Constitution made no provision for education. You want a constitution that takes about somebody having a right to a government funded education then you better go to communist Russia. No, sir, send your kids to private or church academies, just like they did in the old days. Forget this government imposed taxation of taking my money to pay for educating kids I don't even want born, much less my kids to have to be around. Let them get their own country, but they sure ain't getting what I got.
While we're at it, fire and police departments are socialist and have got to go bye-bye. Go back to those golden days in those glorious years of free enterprise before socialism in America. Neighborhoods had to hire their own cops to control the undesirables. Individual property owners had to pay private fire departments to put out fires. So what if some of the fire departments acted more like gangs in that they started fires and then fought each other to see who would put it out and get paid? The market would have regulated itself in time. See how well it's working with the privatization of torture and war with such fine private armies for hire like Blackwater?
But, mercy, even the government went socialist. Look at the government run dining hall in the Sam Rayburn U.S. House Building. Make those Congressmen and their staffers start paying full market price for their lunches. Ditch those fancy champagne receptions. Start charging a cover. No more government sponsored gym in the basement and no more cheap tax-payer paid massages. Convert the House gym to a private health club and charge top dollar just like Congressmen do for their services. Turn their secure parking lot into a private lot and make them pay going DC rates.
Likewise, all Congressmen against government ensured health care need to renounce their socialist benefits. No more going to Walter Reed. Go to a public emergency room and pay out of pocket if they don't have insurance.
While they're at it, all Congressmen for privatization of social security should renounce their government backed lifelong retirement benefits and invest with the likes of Madoff.
Say that you're totally against all government regulation and that you worship the free market? Great. Invest your money in drug trafficking. Where else can you expect returns of 17000% on your investment? Hesitant about moral issues? Well, doesn't the consumer always know best and shouldn't the government never get involved with the sacred principle of supply and demand? After all, isn't profit the bottom line?
Against the government telling you how much you have to pay somebody and what kind of conditions they can work in? Don't worry, you're not alone. So did Jefferson Davis and friends who didn't want anything to do with Lincoln anymore than right- wingers want to do with Obama.
