Anthrax Suspect Was Committed to a Psychiatric Hospital Shortly Before His Death by George Washington Page 1 of 1 page(s) |
|
|
Bruce E. Ivins, the anthrax researcher who supposedly committed suicide, and who the government is now trying to blame for the anthrax attacks, was involuntarily committed to 2 psychiatric hospitals shortly before his death.
Specifically, a month before his death, he was involuntarily committed to the Frederick Memorial Hospital and then transferred to Sheppard Pratt, another psychiatric facility.
Was Ivins crazy? Maybe.
Or maybe he was sent to a psych facility for the same reasons that the Soviet Union committed dissidents to psych hospitals. Maybe Ivins couldn't stand it anymore, and was about to blow the whistle on the real anthrax killers, so they ginned up some claims that he was dangerous and had him hospitalized.
And maybe Ivins' suicide was as real as his and hers.

Digg is being flooded with stories about this. This new development is opening up all kinds of old and new questions about the case. I get the feeling the people and media are going to be pursuing this, and while there won't be a trial where the FBI presents whatever evidence it supposedly has, info is going to get leaked and dug up. I wonder, did he or did he not have a security clearance?
I would guess that he did. How does a "homicidal, sociopathic with clear intentions" (whatever that exactly means) get and/or maintain a clearance? And what about a lie detector test? Anyway, probably when the Hatfill frame-up could no longer be maintained, they had to look for another person to frame. And Ivins fit the bill - maybe a little bit eccentric, knows something about anthrax, made some public comments "sympathetic to Jews", etc. Then they started hounding him in an effort to drive him crazy...maybe get him to do some uncharasteric things...everybody has a breaking point...then they convinced "Jean Duley" that he's a homicidal maniac, and that she's in danger, etc. If they can destabilize, overthrow, control foreign governments the way they do on such a regular basis, I'm sure they can select, cultivate and manipulate a "lone nut" when they need it so badly. by Harold Smith (0 articles, 3 quicklinks, 2 diaries, 556 comments [1 recommended, 0 rejected]) on Friday, Aug 1, 2008 at 11:29:06 PM
