What, us worry? Its another Happy New Year!

In the new year we will still be killing terrorists in five countries. Our media will be patriotically leading our cheering for our brave soldiers and showing photos of the few dead ones reported each week, solemnly thanking them for being willingly give their lives to protect their country's freedom. Our handsome and attractive anchors will keep on assuring us that we are winning by killing a lot of those who are attacking our boys.

We are looking forward to increased fun in the New Year just like we did during each New Year that we rolled in blowing plastic noise makers horns, wearing paper party hats and throwing confetti during all those years our boys were protecting our freedoms killing commies in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.

Its another Happy New Year for Americans. No 9/11 for ten years now, and we have been giving it good to Islamic terrorists in many countries, and plan to keep it up permanently.

Its another Happy New Year, the same Happy New Year as the one after we lost the war in Vietnam to the Vietnamese. The same Happy New Year as after we stalemated the war in Korea against Korean and Chinese communists. They were New Years celebrations just as happy as those at the end of years we won wars in smaller nations.

We will have our Happy New Years, win, tie or lose, because 'we are the good guys.'

I remember Andy Rooney ending his comments after a 60 Minutes show devoted to reminiscing the Vietnam War with, "We weren't the bad guys."
