Anyone else wonder about those T.Boone Pickins ads about windpower?
(Not that we should be suspicious about an Oilman's plans, but...)
I've always hedged with "Well, he may have some good ideas about Windpower, but
I heard he's also the guy who's trying to buy up all the water rights, esp our Ogalallah Sioux Acquifer."
(And if you think no oil is bad, wait til we try no water, eh? We're dealing with a similar Water Rights problem in Maine, with Nestle sucking down our water table via Poland Springs!)
