ARE AMERICANS AFRAID OF 9/11 TRUTH ?

BREAKING THE SPELL WITH 9/11 TRUTH

" Here we are, 7 long years later, and they’re still getting away with it. There has been no real investigation of 9-11, and 9-11 truth advocates are still labeled “fringe”, “paranoid”, “conspiracy theorists”. The country has bought the lie. We are under a spell. 

Someone asked my opponent in the coming election, Rep. Mike Thompson (Dem CA-1) whether he thought 9-11 might be an inside job. His response: “70% of the country thinks that Elvis is still alive”.   

I attended a 9-11 truth rally yesterday.   Richard Gage, an architect who is organizing Architects and Engineers for 9-11 Truth www.ae911truth.org/  (460 members so far), spoke about the obvious lies in the official cover-up report.  

The three towers could only have been brought down so quickly by thousands of thermite or thermate “cutters” strategically planted ahead of time in all three buildings.  Gage pointed out the fact that all the concrete was pulverized into fine dust, the steel framework was shattered or melted, molten rivers of metal flowed on the site for weeks afterwards.  This was a highly sophisticated operation that could not have been planned from a cave in Afghanistan. 

A New York cop, whose beat included the World Trade Center, talked about the powerdown in the North Tower two weeks before the attack, while the new security company, Marvin Bush’s company, did something with heavy equipment and lots of wires. 

A letter was read from Captain Philip Marshall who just published  False Flag 911: How Bush, Cheney and the Saudis Created the Post-911 World He writes:   Our investigation had also brought us to the training of the hijackers because the expert levels of airmanship displayed in the attacks raised red flags of suspicion. …The 911 Commission Report maintained that these pilots were flying Boeing 757s and 767s for the first time. They concluded that in the very first minute in an actual 767 cockpit, one hijacker was able to fly the plane from a cruise altitude of 31,000 feet into a sustained power dive, level out, find his target and hit the south tower of the World Trade Center at an indicated airspeed of 465 knots. The Pentagon plane was even more suspicious in that the 90 foot building was hit at around the same phenomenal airspeed of 460 knots following an absolute perfect 330 degree steep turn at 2,500 feet while in a sustained descent. Any experienced airline pilot knows that this expert level of airmanship is impossible without repeated and intense training. According to the 911 Commission, these were the first flights and the first time that the pilot/hijackers had touched (flown) these highly sophisticated airliners or any airplane larger than single-engine propeller airplanes.  Impossible! 

These are just a few examples of the outrageous inconsistencies in the official 9-11 story.  Yet most of the country continues to buy it. 

The speakers yesterday talked about how jolting and upsetting it was to realize, several years later, that we are being lied to over and over, and how it took them several days to readjust their thinking.

President Bush told the Republican Convention last Tuesday night that the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, are still reverberating around the world, and voters must elect John McCain as president “to protect America.”

This shows how central 9-11 still is to the whole Republican agenda.  It provides the excuse for fascist legislation, for invading other nations illegally, for executive abuses of power of all sorts.

If it could be proven that Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld, perhaps Rice, Guiliani and a few others, expedited 9-11, they could be tried for treason, because  they attacked the American people directly.  Treason cannot be pardoned. 

 9-11 is the key to the whole neocon agenda.  Their script, as laid out in the PNAC report of 2000, a year prior to 9-11,  says that America would be attacked by terrorists, so Bush could declare an endless war on terror. 

 As Commander-in-Chief of a nation at war, he has enormous power to issue executive orders and disregard Congress.   Bush has used it to the fullest, obeying the letter of the law when he can, getting Congress to cover his butt retroactively, as with the new FISA law, calling on executive privilege when necessary. 

In essence, he has rendered Congress powerless and made himself king.  Meanwhile, he has used the media and the constant terror warnings to place the American people under an evil spell of fear and compliance.

If the American people could be convinced that 9-11 was an inside job, the spell would be broken and the power of the executive would revert to the limits set on it by the US Constitution.  But mountains of evidence have failed to convince the people ~ because they are so unwilling to believe that our leaders could be that evil "

Well guess what, George W Bush and Dick Cheney have more than proved what evil they are capable of with their illegal war and occupation of Iraq as well as countless other abuses of power ~ all under the spell of 9/11 and National Security.

We must all now be open to the possibility that we have been blatantly bamboozled on 9/11 and can no longer be afraid of the truth .
