The Sabian symbol for the Taurus Moon at 19* is: A new continent rising out of the ocean -- the surge of new potentiality after the crisis. What more beautiful image could we ask for than new land being created out of the Collective Unconscious (the ocean). Perhaps this is the true West that all mystics have sought -- the paradise on Earth we all long for and which we have the resources and capacity to create if we just leave the patriarchal, dominator, military-industrial complex paradigm behind.
The Sabian symbol for the Scorpio Sun at 19* is: A parrot repeats the conversation he has overheard -- the capacity to transmit transcendental knowledge. In Barcelona, there are thousands of green parrots in the trees. The thing I noticed about them was that they love to talk! So perhaps they love to learn different languages and aren't just repeating what they hear us say. Perhaps they really are the translators of spiritual information in this image.
Taken together, these two images tell us a story of our responsibility to listen to our Spiritual consciousness in "occupying' this new continent that is arising from our collective longings.
Three planets are ending their retrograde motion around this Full Moon.
November 6: Ceres, the energy of nurturing and care, survival and growth, turned retrograde at 1*Aries on June 26, returning to Pisces to gather in more information about those values, longings and needs that are still being ignored by our collective culture. She turns direct on November 6th at 17* Pisces: An Easter parade. This image has to do with participating in collective peak experiences, uniting as a collective to rejoice in re-birth and new life. This seems to be what the Occupy movement is doing for people.
November 10: Chiron, the energy of the wounded healer and the connection between our collective reality and spiritual reality, turned retrograde on June 8th at 6* Pisces and will turn direct on November 10 at 1* Pisces: In a crowded marketplace, farmers and middlemen display a great variety of produce -- the process of interchange and commingling which demonstrates the health of a community. People are gathering and exchanging information and goods and work, creating new ways of living. We are entering the exciting times!
November 9: Neptune, the energy of mystical awareness, imagination, union, enchantment as well as deception and illusion, turned retrograde at 1* Pisces on June 2 and will turn to direct motion on Wednesday November 9 at 29*Aquarius: A Butterfly emerging from a chrysalis -- the capacity to utterly transform the character of one's consciousness by radically altering the structural patterns of everyday living and the types of relationships one enters upon. This is true for our individual behavior patterns as well as our collective ones. What better image for changing our political and social structures!
