One thing is for sure. The corporations will not provide us with the funding to create the thinktanks we need to explore these challenges.

It would be good though, if we could explore ways to take power away from big corporations, alternative ways to fund big projects, alternative ways to pool resources and technologies. That's an effort that would be good for humanity, good for planet earth and probably even good for the future of business. Just as the dinosaurs got bigger and finally became extinct, replaced by smaller, more adaptive life forms, the same will probably ultimately be true for corporations and business.
