Ha! not mine.  Even if he were not a weasel, I wouldn't vote for
him.

Why should I?  I live in Maryland, where Obama will win by
400,000 votes.  I would love to get 50,000 of those votes for the
Green Party's Cynthia McKinney.  It would give a strong signal.
Heck, I wouldn't mind seeing 30,000 of the Obama Maryland tsunami
go to Ron Paul, or Bob Barr.

So many posts today on OEN excoriating Obama.  I write to urge
people to take the next step: vote for someone else.  Most of
you can do this in perfectly good conscience, no fear of
post-election accusations of "Naderism".

Do you live in:  Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut,
New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois,
or California?   Then you have a Free Vote.

Do you live in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, Kansas,
Oklahoma, Louisiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, or Alabama?  Then you
have a Free Vote.

What is a Free Vote?  the concept is easy.  In the above-named
states we all know where the electoral votes are going.  No
need to swell the Obama tide, or try to hold back the McCain
tide.  Make your vote really count, make it be noticed, tell
people that there are alternatives.

Hurrah for Cynthia!  and, yes, hurrah for Ralph, and Ron, and
Bob.  Votes for any of these people help bring a day when people
everywhere will realize that they have a real choice, and then
we'll be closer to the day, yet further off, when they might use
it.

(Warning!  Any readers in Florida, or North Carolina, or Missouri,
or Virginia, or Colorado, or New Mexico;  pay NO ATTENTION to the
above!  You are Battlegrounders; vote for Obama and tell your
neighbors to do so to.  A 55 beats a 10, no?)
