Turkey wants 30 Billion. Russia Wants something.

Bulgaria is getting something.

Spain is getting something.

It takes a whore to sell off America's most prized assets in order to buy all the third world countries and their leaders in the pursuit of a war that will linger in history as the most shameful, most cowardly of all time. It takes someone who is willing to give up enormous portions of our country's resources and assets-- money, credibility, reputation, integrity-- and that's just what's happening.

Imagine if the Florida Keys, Rhode Island, or even, Manhattan were put up for sale or traded away by the President. People might stand up and object. Well, that's exactly what's happening these days, except the assets being traded away, primarily for influence and votes, are non-tangible, except for the billions of dollars, of course. These non-tangible assets are just as precious as land, perhaps more so, since if they are traded away, we have to ask ourselves, do we even still possess the America we love.

 As the Bush regime powers its way into full bloom, profit, power and corporatist control oriented maximization of opportunities, the Nation of the founding fathers is fading from view. Like the boiling frog that slowly cooks as the water heats up, we wait, as our freedoms are taken away, our media is taken over and hate rules the airwaves.

IN the powerful, must-see movie, The Pianist, we see how the Nazi's gradually went from minor abuses to horrific monstrosities, and how, like the boiling frog, the Poles gradually died as they were boiled in Nazi horrors. We can't let that happen here. This is not the Republican party of Ron Reagan. It's a regime that was never elected, that controls the computerized voting, that has passed laws that give it the right to cancel presidential elections. We need to do something every day to stop the juggernaut.

When commentators on national network owned TV and radio call for the arrest and detention of war protesters, and to buy a ticket we now have to be profiled and data-base screened,  we have reached a point when a new Civil war might be emerging as a possible outcome. Or worse, the detention they call for may become a reality, perhaps, like in South America, where thousands "disappeared."
