THE Wales-born soldier, Bradley Manning, alleged to have passed 250,000 classified documents to WikiLeaks has been nominated for the 2011 Nobel peace prize. Former Haverfordwest schoolboy Bradley Manning was detained by the US military more than a year ago after the biggest intelligence leak it has ever seen. Among other peace prize nominees are WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange. A record 241 candidates, of which 53 are organisations, have been nominated for this year's award, worth around -1m.
