Poll
Are there too many similar causes diluting available resources?
Are there too many separate causes competing for donations for each to be as effective as needed?
Should some of the individual causes unite where they share the same goals related to the same issues in order to consolidate funding to be more effective?
Should similar causes/groups narrow their focus and refer donors to each other on specific issues with regards to supporting action on those issues?
This sounds like three questions but they are all related. There are a number of progressive, grass roots movements that are often targeting the same causes. Each accepts it's own donations and has it's own account to draw on, often limiting each one's over all effectiveness in the national debate on those issues due to funding.
Would it be advisable for each of these causes to work with the others to pool their efforts to channel donations to one organization or another designated to deal with a particular issue, leading to a larger budget and more awareness?
