- Our government is being corrupted. Our resources are being
prostituted for politics. The far right chants its 'get rid of
government" mantra and at the same time is not only starving it
with federal tax cuts, but is also sordidly turning our government
resources into gutted, empty, characterless, integrityless bastions
of policy promotion, just like CATO, HERITAGE, AEI, PNAC, Hudson,
etc..

- Paul Krugman talks
about how the treasury department has become a marketing arm of
the Bush administration, just like the CIA, the EPA and the national
institutes of health. Not only have the neocons taken over
government, but they are in the process of converting the government
to extensions of the neocon think tank empire.

- Recently, the treasury department has been converted from
operating as a source of information, exploration and a generator of
facts that are used to determine financial and tax policy. It has
been demoted and transformed into a propaganda arm of the Bush
policy blitz, relegated to providing statistics, no matter how far
it has to stretch to make them fit, which support the Bush/Rove
policies currently being sold.

- Of course we know how the CIA and FBI and a whole slew of agencies
were disconnected from each other and funneled through Condeleeza
Rice and the Oval office (see Information
Sharing: Why Did Bush Coordinate All National Security Through
Himself Via Condi Rice? Margie Burns.) It is
reasonable to assume that this disconnection, which very likely led
to the lack of interagency communications which led to the failure
to protect the US from the 9-11 attack, was implemented to enable
the Bush administration to allow its fanatical need for control to
be assuaged.

- We know the EPA has become a tool for selling off our natural
resources, a front that is being used to trick people who want to be
fooled, to lay waste to the environment. And they do it while giving
the toxic project environmentally friendly names like the
"Clear Skies Act" a cover for allowing industry to
increase pollution.

- Our military is now run by neocons who were formerly members of
the Project for a New American Century (PNAC). It is no longer a
fighting force designed to protect the US and friends. It is now an
aggressive pre-emptive attack force, being redesigned so it is adept
at implementing the urges to empire of egghead Zionist zealots.
(This is no anti-semitic remark. I am Jewish. The actions of Perle,
Wolfowitz, Feith and other radical, extremist zionist neocons are
not consistent with the politics, policies or attitudes of any of
the Jews I know. Most American Jews want a safe middle east where
there is peace and fairness. The violence on both sides is
intolerable.)

- The point of this article is, that like termites eating away at
the foundation of a venerable colonial building, built over 200
years ago (we have lots of these in Bucks County, where Washington's
Crossing and hundreds of colonial era homes exist) the Bush right
wing fanatics who stole the presidential election are destroying the
inner workings of our government, not just the tax base that
supports it.

that
the build-up of the Iraqi war was promoted by the neocon Think
tanks-- the policy promotion cruise missiles of the far right
billionaires who have dragged our country into a horrid state of
vile partisan conflict and mean-spirited pure power and money
greed-- with strong coordination with a handful of government
agencies, particularly the Defense Policy Board.

- It's become more apparent, with new disclosures on the corruption
of the election process that Bev Harris has been reporting (Voting

other elections -

Bev Harris) that it is very likely that the PResidency
and the Senate majority were obtained by intentional, criminal
attacks on the voting process, through fraudulent manipulation of
voter cull lists, through fraudulent computerized counting, through,
illegal counting of overseas ballots...

- America has been stolen and now raped and pillaged. Bill Moyers
said that the right has put the government up for sale. But worse
than that, they've put it up for prostitution and rape.
- What are you going to do about it? Start by demanding from your
representatives that they fix the vote laws. If you've already
written or e-mailed, then call and write. We have a shot at getting
Bush out of office, along with his termite team of structural
destroyers. But we need a clean vote to do it.
