I rant on the illegal wars, Obama continuing Bush's dismantling of the US Constitution program, the theft of trillions of US tax dollars that can't be accounted for, and the crap that too many Americans have to put up with daily. I post the text of an email sent to Vermont US Senator Patrick Leahy and Senator Bernie Sanders. Will they answer?

Recent sanctions against Iran are an attempt by the US to return the country to its sphere of influence, claims veteran journalist John Pilger. "Iran was a pillar of the American empire in the Middle East. That was swept away in 1979 by the Islamic revolution, and it has been American foreign policy to get that back," he said. "It has absolutely nothing to do with so-called nuclear weapons. The nuclear power in the Middle East is the fourth biggest military power in the world and that is Israel. It has something like 500 or more nuclear warheads. It is never discussed." Pilger added that Barack Obama has failed to change the trajectory of US foreign policy and following George W. Bush's line. "For the first time in US presidential history -- it has not happened before -- a president has taken the entire defense department bureaucracy, and the Secretary of State for Defense, from a previous discredited administration. We have basically Robert Gates and the same generals running American foreign policy with a lot of help from people of like mind."

Attn Sen. Leahy and Bernie Sanders:

I have concerns, and those whom I talk to, have similar concerns. As a constituent, I ask that you consider what I have to say, and then get back to me. I am posting this letter to you on the Internet on Opednews.com

I just viewed a video, journalist John Pilger being interviewed on America's (illegal) wars of occupation in Yemen, Pakistan, Somalia, Iraq, and Afghanistan. If trillions of US tax dollars can't be accounted for, that means there has been a theft equal to a large portion of our entire national debt. If a citizen can go to prison for stealing a candy bar from a candy store, maybe the perpetrators who stole the equivalent of an ocean of candy bars should be brought to justice. I ask that the Pentagon, Federal Reserve, CIA, FBI, NSA, and IRS be audited to see where the US taxpayer money is really going. Let's prosecute thieves and other criminals.

I ask that the "Leahy Law" be used to de-fund the CIA and all US occupied countries because of human rights violations. I am posting this open letter to you on Opednews.com, refer to today's date. I will include links. I ask also ask that Obama be impeached and removed from office for his complicity in human rights violations, the current US Depression, and for his part in dismantling the US Constitution violating his oath sworn to at his inauguration.

If a citizen such as myself contacts your Senate Office, should the police then show up at my door, threaten my life, threaten to beat me, that I lose my home, my family, my job, that I will be arrested, and even be hauled off to prison just for contacting you with my concerns? Well, I contacted Connecticut US Senator Chris Dodd's Office when I owned rental properties, a home, had a contracting business, and a family. Connecticut State Police acted out on their threats, where I was arrested, got prison for resisting being mugged by a police informant, and lost everything, and told that I either leave that state or go back to prison. So, Senators, if it should be safe for constituents to contact you without being blacklisted, spied on, terrorized, held as political prisoners, and ruined for life, that my case be looked into for remedy, and have safeguards in place to prevent this citizen abuse from continuing in a supposed free country.

The Connecticut State Police have allegedly stolen taxpayer paid federal Homeland Security Funds by claiming to work hours not worked, covered up by the State Police Commissioner. Connecticut Courts allegedly are fraudulently sucking in federal taxpayer funds over rigged cases, nepotism, bid rigging, and other malfeasance. The State Police have a taxpayer funded gold outing celebrating false DUI arrests and a State Police helicopter pilot was allowed to continue flying after he made terrorist threats to kill police officers and blow up aircraft at an airport. Should taxpayers fund this circus?

Is it time to audit Homeland Security funding and have civilian oversight over the domestic and international spy agencies, the US Justice Department, policing, and court operations? We're seeing how well the US Government is working in secret, which isn't a secret anywhere in the world. Please consider what I have to say, and please get back to me on what can be done about the above. Please let me know if I can testify at an official hearing.

Thank you,

Steven G. Erickson
