Which one becomes the priority? Back to the scenario. Palin has to make incredibly tough decisions and the world is depending on these decisions. That same morning Trig comes down with a bad cold, which turns into pneumonia and he is taken to the hospital. Are we to believe that she can operate with a clear mind in order to do her job effectively. We are not talking about any old job, that can have someone take their place for a period of time. No women should have to be put in the situation of deciding between her child or her country. Is that common sense or sexist? Is there also a guarantee Palin will not become pregnant while in office, since she doesn't believe in birth control. Maybe we can have an executive nursery. These are uncharted waters and I hope the voters will come to their senses and not let this scenario become a real possibility.
