Many thanks for your very interesting account of prison life.
I can't help wondering if any thoughts of all the environmental problems caused by our Government's (Executive, Legislative, and Judicial) failures relating to the ratification of the United Nation Aarhus Convention Agreement , which are ongoing, ever crossed your mind while in Castlerea (Jail)?
"To honest cop: 'I wonder if you have ever considered the fact that the Republic of Ireland Government (Executive, Legislative, and Judicial) is breaking the law in really major ways regarding a whole string of environmental issues, and that it has been doing so for several years now - and all with the tacit approval and support of the legal profession? For example, the Republic of Ireland signed the United Nations Aarhus Convention Agreement in 1998, and has been COMPLETELY, and unlawfully, ignoring it ever since'."

"Could this total refusal (for Legal Aid) represent anything other than rampant and systemic corruption in the legal profession?"
