Do You Feel Safer After Taking Revenge on Iraq and Afghanistan?

Do people feel safer after slaughtering nearly a million people in Iraq for no known reason? Do they feel safer for slaughtering people in Afghanistan for apparently revenge for the 911 attack?

Our excuse for the media this morning is talking about safety. They are discussing Iraq and how it will fall apart when we leave and if we feel safer after invading Iraq. Why would we feel safer? No Iraqi attacked us even by the government's version of the 911 attack. My question is why do they get away with being mindlessly ludicrous?

Are we safer after attacking Afghanistan? Again no Afghani was on the planes even by the government's version of events. They didn't get Osama bin Laden. Did he even do it? Apparently the only reason we went there was for revenge. It was the type of bombing that Reagan did when a soldier was killed in Berlin by a Libyan. What did he do? Bomb Libya.

We kill hundreds or thousands of people out of revenge. Is that what this country stands for? Good old fashioned Old Testament type of revenge.

Do we feel safer now that we took revenge out on a bunch of people who had nothing to do with 911? If we do, we are all idiots.

 

I enjoy writing about political/ economic events, and I am especially concerned about the US as a warlike nation. I would like to see this nation turn itself around from a conquering nation in both commerce and war to a nation of peace. I hope that (more...)
