American Flag Flies Over Guantanamo, but..

The tried and convicted war criminal and torturer believed he could detain and torture human beings outside the law at Guantanamo, but the American flag flies over the base and our colors are raised and lowered each day at Guantanamo. 
Wherever our flag flies our laws and values are applicable and any human being held on that soil would have to be accorded humane treatment, respectful of human dignity (presumed innocent until proven guilty), and speedy due process of law in accordance with our Constitution, our laws, treaties, and our values represented by our flag - any other treatment would be un-American and should be denounced by the president and congress
