Much has occurred since George Floyd's murder by police in Minneapolis. In particular the public's perception of police accountability for the brutality they commit. They're often exonerated. Widespread protests has resulted. Yet police are needed to combat violent crime & community patrols aren't qualified to handle it. Police reform is possible if elected officials & community groups meet to form a realistic plan of action.
