How did we get to this point, near total fascism? While the U.S. political system has always been oligarchic rather than a true democracy, the oligarchy took a hard turn toward fascism in 2000 when Bush stole the first of his presidencies. Along with voter caging lists the GOP has ridden the hackable electronic voting machines and optical scan vote counting machines to power. They have stolen the House, the Senate, and Govenorships numerous times and now they are on the verge of stealing the supreme court. The Democratic Party refuses to call for investigation of the evidence of vote tampering in elections from 2000-2016, and even in the wake of the hysteria over the alleged Russian interference in our elections they have not brought up bills calling for hand counted paper ballots in our elections. In spite of the Democratic Party fielding lame candidates and moving toward the right the evidence suggests voters are still voting for them over the Republicans but the elections are being stolen.
