good advice indeed.

Those two men resisted by, as Black men, not simply acquiescing to a police order to leave the Starbucks premises. They could have been beaten or tased for that, but fortunately were not, probably because the other patrons, mostly white, were already protesting the police order for them to leave.

They resisted politely but firmly three times according to reports, which the police decided was "defiance," and so they were cuffed and arrested for their unmitigated gall.

Now Starbucks is paying a price. The police should and probably will too, if the guys decided, as I hope they will, to sue the city for false arrest.
