Our modern financial and political affairs are knitted in the historical events of the Indian subcontinent - A very large percentage of the New World's gold and silver had ended up in India due to India's humongous trade surplus with Europe - Then, all of India's wealth ended up back in the vaults of Britain. It was this wealth - looted from India - that provided the base for the Modern Financial System.
