Millennium Development Goals Are Reality in Cuba

Cuba has met most of the UN millennium goals, following years of commitment to foster development, eradicate extreme poverty and ensure environmental sustainability, among others. Concrete examples have proven the achievements that can be attained through the political willingness of a small and developing nation that has faced a merciless 45-year blockade.
