Futurist Brian Wang wrote in February, 2022 about the need to get hardcore about mitigating aging when you are 60 and over.  He will turn 57 in a few months & actuarial tables show his risk of death each year is passes 1%/year in the next few years. By the time most of us are 70, the risk of death each year  passes 2%/year. If we take care of ourselves with exercise, proper diet, & supplements, we might be able to reduce annual risk by 30-50%.

None of this is cheap, however, begging the question of whether these uninsured costs will only be available to those whose wealth already increases their lifespan. Already, the wealthy can expect to outlive the poor by 20 years or more.
