Shades of the 2008 drama/comedy Swing Vote, where one vote separates the contenders and one voter is wooed by both candidates. In Fairbanks, Alaska, district one of the state, one vote separates the Democratic stage assembly candidate from the Republican, with the latter in the lead, and four other votes are disputed because of counting methods used. So the state Supreme Court will decide the issue, it is hoped. The state's next session starts soon and Alaskans want to know who will represent this Fairbanks district.
