Sen. Bernie Sanders reacted to Donald Trump’s call to ban all Muslims from entering the United States by stressing that Trump’s plan is based on weakness and fear. Sen. Bernie Sanders reacted to Donald Trump’s call to ban all Muslims from entering the United States by stressing that Trump’s plan is based on weakness and fear. Trump later clarified that his ban would include US-born Muslims, who are living abroad. Sanders was correct. Trump is a demagogue. There is no rational argument to any of the billionaire’s positions. Trump is merely trying to exploit racism and prejudice to win the Republican nomination. Trump rose to the top of the Republican primary polls by calling Mexican immigrants murderers and rapists. Now that his support has slipped in the polls, Trump is upping the ante by calling for a ban on Muslims.
