Rupert Murdoch, in London to calm a staff revolt at his biggest British paper, announced Friday that News Corp. will be launching a new title, The Sun on Sunday, and told employees at The Sun that everyone who had been arrested at the paper could come back to work. The news comes after five Sun employees, including very senior editors, were arrested last weekend as part of an ongoing probe into the bribing of public officials. Many journalists within the company were enraged because the information that led to the arrests was provided to the police by News Corp. itself. What followed was an extraordinary public display of anger from Murdoch's own employees. He flew to London on Thursday to defuse the growing crisis.
