I was actually trying to find a web site devoted to the life of of Krishna, and found virtually nothing at all. I thought this was quite astounding considering Krishna is generally acknowledged to be a full Incarnation of God by hundreds of millions of people around the world. It is particularly amazing in this the 21st century, when we seem to have easy access online, to unlimited information regarding virtually everything else...

 So my Sunday offering today is simply what is believed to be the essence of His teachings, in a volume which has been referred to as the "New Testament" of the Hindu faith (although it has been widely influential in the West as well. Thoreau is said to have read from it daily; and it was what the American physicist Robert Oppenheimer chose to quote after the first test of the Atomic bomb: "Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.", etc).
