Oil Discovered Under Gaza Strip: A Stream of Consciousness Thing

By Kevin Tully

A huge pocket of high grade crude has been discovered under Palestinian territory...Can a Great Country become pathetic in its artless coveting of the greater world's resources?

::::::::

A huge pocket of high grade crude has been discovered under Palestinian territory.   Disney, Walmart, and Trump were reportedly seen on a four hundred acre piece of property negotiating the development of "Arafatland", an amusement park/retirement village named after the longtime PLO leader, Yasser Arafat. It has also been reported that PGA incorporated has set up workshops across the Palestinian homeland in preparation for the possible construction of three eighteen hole destination resorts -- there will be a real need for caddies.   When an unnamed project consultant and former Bush confidant was asked about these events he said, "...it was either bomb the little bastards into oblivion or this, we decided on this because of the proximity to Israel, we were worried about Israeli air quality as a result of raging fires and dust."   Can a Great Country become pathetic in its artless coveting of the greater world's resources?    I think the greater world is waking up.   Alternative energy sources and sustainable practices can restore soul to a Great Country that just wants to be a peaceful and happy country among other peaceful and happy countries.   My, what a novel concept -- a peaceful and happy country, instead of a country of angry, frightened, covetous wretches tethered to a capitalist nightmare.   I am starting a Farmers Market here in my town.   The process of putting it together has been very refreshing.   America is alive with enthusiasm and hope growing out of the Farmers Market movement. -- Entrepreneurs, craftspeople and farmers coming together to restore community where community has been lost.   The grassroots are where it's at.   The establishment is rotten to the core (read about the Whole Foods Guy, Click ) So, go visit your local Farmers Market, buy some organic beets or a pennywhistle made out of recycled pinto bean cans, sign a petition, smile.
