Gay imam from South Africa Muhsin Hendricks: "My researches appearance Quran is not against the homosexual relations."

Gay imam Muhsin Hendricks who South Africa Muslim High Court gave a fatwa against himself spoke to Turkish Kaos GL web site.  

Hendricks said some other hetero imams supported him but they couldn't explain their opinions.

"Someone can leave Islam with a conscious prefer. But most of them leave Islam because of angry and ignorance, according to me. I live with queer Muslims for 17 years and most of them leave Islam, because they are angry. They don't understand religion and sexuality can settle on.  So they leave all goodness what coming by Islam. Reasons of that are lack of education, insight problem about Lut race and not-understanding of personal messages of Quran.

We have oral tradition in Islam. We learn from imams told. But Muslims don't strive personally for understanding Quran. And they don't understand Islam and they leave it" Hendricks said.

He said a lot of heterosexual imams who support himself were in around but they couldn't explain opinions to public union: "Although there are a lot of female imam in Indonesia and USA. Females understand better that sexual apartheid. Because they been sexual apartheid in Islam sometimes" he said.

Imam Hendricks said that story of Sodom and Gomorra was mostly about rape, misuse and exploitation but not about homosexuality.
